Hey, this Giants fan doesn't know the rules either, guess that qualifies him for a number of NFL jobs including Head Coach of the Ravens, QB of the Steelers, Head of Security of the Jets and Head referee. :D

That's not even a good conspiracy, come up with something that isn't easily explained

NY fans are insufferable ....
Lots of Giants fans in RI ... they are closet whiners.
You're right on all counts. There used to be more of them throughout NE which is rooted in the fact that before the AFL came along, Giants games were on TV here every Sunday. There are still some holdovers, lots of them in RI, who still believe that the Giants are NE's team. I liken them to those WWII Japanese soldiers who'd be found on those deserted Pacific isles in the '70s believing that the war hadn't ended yet.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that a man in a rain coat at a rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike told him that the New England Patriots illegally forced the time keeper in the Meadowlands to add 17 seconds to the clock that resulted in the winning field goal against the Giants on Sunday. Commissioner Roger Goodell said he has asked independent investigator Ted Wells and NFL counsel Jeffrey Pash to look into the matter, adding, "I don't even own a rain coat."

I grew up amidst Giants fans, and went against the grain and became a Browns fans.. until I discovered the one true religion, the Patriots. Even today there are bars in Newport that favor the Giants over the Patriots..

Every once and a while read an obituary of a contemporary, which reads "life long Giants Fan"... poor soul, RIP.

OTOH there is an adage I learned while working with the Developmentally Disabled, that in a bar you cannot tell the difference between a drunk nuclear scientist and a "******ed" person..

One positive is that the ridiculous accusations seem to be lessening as the season progresses.

If they continue to throw stuff at the wall, they may just look stupid--like this guy. This just looks like sour grapes, and I'm guessing that no one would take him seriously.

The best part about this specific accusation is that every time someone makes it, it informs you of two things:

1) person in question doesn't know relatively basic NFL rules.
2) in absence of knowledge, person in question assumes the Pats are cheating, rather than actually looking up the rule.

Anyone whose default position is "I'm ignorant of what's happening, therefore someone else must be cheating" is a woefully ignorant, stupid, jealous and petty person.
That alone would put his resume at the top of the pile at NFL Office....

Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Say what, you will but they are right. Belichick using the mind meld to get Coughlin to "ice" Gostkowski is absolutely cheating. While not as egregious as the time Belichick mind melded the 31 to pass on LaGarette Blount so he could re-sign him it is still another example of Belichick using Vulcan superpowers that the league banned years ago.

Cut the sh.t, Bill, they are catching on!

LOL, put it on that form that has been going around for the fans of the opposing team to fill out. Also, as I was going to say before I read the article, "didn't the Giants call a time out there anyway to try to ice Ghost?" The funny thing is, the TO was called too early. It didn't ice Ghost and was called before he went into his kicking motion, which I thought was odd. Jedi mind tricks strike again!

The comments on that YouTube video are great. 95% of them are destroying the guy for not knowing the rules. "Window licking moron" was my favorite.

That was yesterday's outrage, though. Now we've moved on to "Why doesn't Belichick wear the military themed NFL apparel on the sideline?"

and David Tyrie had stickum on his helmet....kiss my curvy yellow behind Giants fans.

It's become routine that after every Patriots game we read "Other teams fans think that the Patriots cheated by <insert ridiculous conspiracy theory here>"

And the conspiracy theories are getting crazier by the week

It just shows how much people really REALLY hate to see their teams lose to the Patriots

The salty tears of Giants fans are delicious.

They had a military themed hoodie, so no excuse there.

Giants fans... Some of them have the right attitude and some don't.

They had every chance to win this game (just like the Pats did). And they lost. No excuses.

Have them take it up with Ensign Joe Cardona, #49 in your program.

Steve Gostkowski's song in his head was not finished. He needed the extra 20 seconds to get to the end of the song. If you want to call that cheating, go ahead. But you can't expect the guy to kick when he is still humming the bridge.
