I shall call it: "Watching my oldest son playing QB has me holding my vomit in my mouth"

DirecTV hosts event for NFL dads to watch their sons: http://on.nfl.com/1X3pgjE

I'm not sure if I will get buried for this, but can we stop laughing at other's misery. I'm no fan of Pey pey, but leave the man alone. No one knows what holds for any team in this violent game. One day you are healthy and another day you could be injured.

Speaking for myself, I certainly don't want PM to be incapacitated.

However....

He knew his arm was cooked, his body breaking down and he came back to chase stats and records.

It is what it is and criticism of his horrible play is warranted.

and another day you could sit down on a female trainer's face pinning her to the ground and rub your testicles in her face because...aw shucks, it's good ol country funnin' Peytie...leave good ol' boy Peytie alone!!!

After the years of Brady-bashing and Peyton ball-washing and rule changes he benefited from....sorry, but no. I respect Peyton as a QB, but he gets paid a lot of money to play in the NFL and it comes with both, spoils and jeers.

Who is the guy in the Pats chair with his hands over his eyes?

Peyton is getting paid $17m this year. I doubt a lot of people would leave him alone.

Nah I'm loving this everyone was quick to write Brady off last year against KC and then Defamegate happened his name dragged through the mud way worse what people are saying about Peyton now. Difference is Peyton is playing like crap and deserves the bashing he's getting while Brady was getting bashed and his integrity questioned over a ****ty report and a witch hunt by jealous teams. Peyton Manning gets no sympathy from me

Archie had a rough day.

However, at the end of a day where he, (Archie Manning) watched one son get benched and the other lose on a controversial call, Manning's tune had changed just a little.

"I hate football," he muttered leaning back in his chair.

The mark of a great player is to know when to walk away, when you are great memory.. heroic comebacks often lead to unintended physical consequences..

Peyton is a shell of his former self..

He's just following Favre's lead.
