Was a functional receiver in '13 for the Pats for a few games. Played in CFL for BC Lions this season. Their season just ended. Not sure how CFL contracts work...
Might be worth kicking the tires???????

No thanks.

WR Depth is not a problem. Plenty of bodies. Only question is if the loss of Edelman's production on 3rd/4th down and YAC will hurt the offense.

going to be inhouse .probably best to use guys who have been with the team.

WTF?!?! Who needs Collie when we have Harper sitting on the PS?

You want the guy to end up in the morgue?

We just spent a 2nd round pick on a WR in the draft two years ago. We drafted this guy over Keenan Allen. Let's see if he can step up to the challenge

I wouldn't mind seeing Harper come back up, given what we saw in pre-season.

But the coaches have a better vantage, and right now, it's LaFell, Amendola, Dobson and probably Martin. If Martin can't go, Harper might get the call up, but it wouldn't surprise me, even in that siutation, if they don't call Harper up.

Wouldn't surprise me because nothing BB does surprises me anymore. Makes me crazy, sure. Makes me feel like a fool when I rage against him, sure. But surprise me? Nah.

i think he died a couple years ago...

he's not the answer. harper over him for sure

I think Amendola plays the Jules role and Martin (if/when healthy) plays the Amendola role. I'm not holding my breath for Dobson, nor do I really want to see a big game come down to him having to make a play.

I'd take Harper over Dobson any day.

Depth was a problem even before Edelman went down.
I don't know. Edelman, Amendola, LaFell, Martin, Dobson. Not saying those last two especially are world-beaters, but compared to CB or the O-line it's not the thinnest part of the roster. Guess my real point is, bringing in one washed up guy as a body wouldn't solve the problems of Edelman being out.

I agree that Collie isn't the answer. Had Welker waited a week, on the other hand...

Not him either. Thanks for but no thanks. Don't want no thankless ****suckers. (excuse the language)

That's a ridiculous position to take, but you're entitled to your opinion.

Yeah, I have to imagine they would have at least brought him in for a look. Of course, depth becomes a problem if, say, Amendola was to get hurt. He's been very reliable this year, and he's taken tough hits just fine, but suppose an expanded workload gets him injured. Maybe they can't afford to use him to death, in which case you're going to need more from LaFell (sure), Martin (?), Dobson (ugh), and poor man's Gronkowski to succeed.

It will be interesting to see if BB pulls Amendola off of special teams.

****ing welker...should of waited.
maybe the rams release him
