The "hug"......embarrassing!!!!

I think that's how they do it in the billionaires/powerful men club. You see it all the time, in history even. Their allegiance is to money. They may hate each other but they need to use each other.

All i'm saying is the hug is not a personal thing. They are using each other for sure. It's a show. An act of unity makes them more money when sponsors see it. If there's instability, both of them lose out.

Love ya, Brother Nab, but: No kidding.

The Problem isn't that anyone doesn't understand why the Krafts are acting like that.

The Problem is that their acting like that is disgusting.

And yet some folks continue to fantasize about the Krafts having some Super Secret Plan to topple Goodel!!

It's a good move ... old school move ... keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

That leaves more room to stick the dagger in when the opportunity arises.

The Krafts are absolute cretins! Saddens me that these rodents own the organisation - only redeeming thought is that anyone else that can afford to own the organisation is more than likely to be the same.

I'm not calling all wealthy people cretins but ones who'd buy and run an nfl team are. Money grabbing douchebags

Just playing devil's advocate here, based on no video and only two still pictures.

If you are Jonathan and Goodell unexpectedly steps towards you with open arms, about to hug you - in that split second, what do you do? Step backwards? Just leave your arms by your side and not give him even a little bit of a hug back? Sure, you can attempt to reach out for a handshake instead, but by then it is probably too late; he already has both his arms around your shoulders.

I know that I have been in that awkward position before when I felt compelled to respond to a hug, even though I would never consider initiating a hug with that other person.

Well, considering that there is no Death that could possibly befall Goodell so hideous, so humiliating, or so excruciatingly painful that I wouldn't celebrate'is Passing with a cackling Dance of Glee, I'm comfortable saying that while I would not do actual Violence to that lump of Raw Sewage, I would clearly, loudly, and quite profanely offer some free advice as to exactly what he could do with his ****ing hug. :)

It's a GREAT point. Where is the "self respect" with the Krafts?? Robert professes his love for Tom Brady, calls him a son, and then endorses the very man (and his NFL office cabal who ALL still have their jobs) who has gone over and above his past behaviors as Commish to smear that "son" and to hurt that HC and by extension the team on the field by taking away draft picks.
The Kraft's love their power and their money above all else.
Disgusting!!!!!

Inconsistency is the root of confusion. ;)

Kraft can probably afford to throw $1M away in fines. (And he gets it from us.)

However, the team cannot afford to throw away a #1 pick in 2016 and a #4 pick in 2017. He hurt the team and the fans who afford him luxuries.

This is a Mafia type of hug.
