peyton looked finished in the postgame interview. lol

I have to say I haven't taken too much enjoyment out of watching Peyton crumble. I like the fact that it helped result in two losses for the Donkeys but other than that it is kind of a sad way for him to go out.

I hope it doesn't end that way for Brady. Hopefully he walks out the door with another ring on his finger...

I was thinking of having a party to celebrate P6 being gone.
It reminds me of the way I felt when the over rated INT machine whose record he broke finally left.
The only problem now will be having to listen to all the excuses by his rumpswabs.

Not the way for a qb like this to go out.....obviously should be his last year. He was good for the game but the time is rapidly approaching if not already here.

It is Brock time...

If he was so injured, he probably shouldn't have played at all yesterday. He hurt the team by being on the field, obviously... but hey, records before team, as always. Might as well be his slogan.

If I was a Broncos fan, I'd be pretty pissed at how yesterday went down in light of this report. And not because they lost.
Indeed. The dINTver Broncos' season may have been sacrificed to the ego of one old man. I'd be furious. I could see it on a bottom of the heap team looking for any marketing angle possible but dINTver was in the hunt for a bye.

If Manning is legitimately injured, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Elway who did it, or at least hired someone to take care of his "problem."

It's being reported as the left foot. I heard it was per Schefter via 98.5.

I had plantar fasciitis in HS and I was far from overweight back then. Got a cortisone shot in my foot and played in the hoops playoffs the next night so it's not like he couldn't go next week if that's what he has.

Just looked at the broncos schedule. Is there a chance they miss the playoffs?

They are 7-2. Play: Bears, Pats, Chargers(2), Raiders, Steelers, Bengals.

I could see them losing Pats/Bengals/Steelers and maybe the Raider/Chargers/Bears could steal a few.

10-6 probably gets them in but 9-7? Maybe that is what they end up with. If KC gets hot and goes 9-7 as well maybe they don't make it.

Crazy to think about but possible perhaps. It becomes a heck of a lot more possible if they lose to the Bears this week...

When the NEP went up by a point in the NYG game, the announcers started talking about NYG injuries.

Really? Are you kidding me?! Yeah, tell us all about their C going down...for what- the rest of the game? But don't even mention that NEP injuries.

I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago...I got an insert for my shoes/sneakers that made it go away immediately.

so sick of the "woe is me!" Peytie Pooch excuse factory. Just go away you friggin' sexual assault artist with a heart of cardboard.

Without home-field advantage, DEN is at a disadvantage. Let's face it, DEN itself is a HUGE home-field advantage, something I believe their fans were counting on, until they lost a few and their QB.

Honestly, if the media has ANY credibility, they should go after Manning for dragging his own team down in what was an obvious attempt just to get some personal glory with his stupid records. This should be THE story around this. But it won't be. St. Manning can't do any wrong.

He got thrown out the door because Elway desperately wanted to bring in his buddy Kubiak. I mean what coach gets fired that has had their team in the playoffs every year he's been there? Friggen guy got them to the playoffs with Tim Tebow.

Marty Schottenheimer? If I recall correctly, he was fired after a 14-2 season and had the team in the playoffs previous years. His replacement? Norv ...

So he actually was worse than probable before the game but played to get the record?

He's a team first kind of guy ... :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: ... not.

He should have at least be listed as questionable
... even though he actually was closer to doubtful or out ... he should not have been out there.

I think Manning will insist on playing one more game, because he also wants to break the record for most wins by a starting quarterback. Expect Peyton to be the starter in week 17 versus 2-win San Diego.
I think he plays vs us for sure.

Deion Sanders has asked this repeatedly every week.No other QB with this INT/TD ratio would be starting on a team. But we dont mention peyton and his 0 QB rating .

Plantar fasciatis is common in overweight people.

Petyton should have been employing "Dr." Alex Guerrero.

Maybe Peyton should lay off the chicken parm and Papa John's pizza during his convalescence.

That's because it was the POST-game interview. Had it been a REGULAR-game interview, he would have aced it. Anything with a 'POST' in it (as in post-season), he royally chokes it.

I hate to be the contrarian. But i wonder if this is the excuse they will use to bench him.

I certainly hope not because i want a beatdown in denver in 2 weeks. But osweiler doesnt scare me much either
It's exactly the excuse, Peyton apologists just want to be able to point to something and say that it's the reason why he's bad.
