I thought he was better than what we are getting after we signed him Buffalo fans were like whatever! That was a miserable drop yesterday wide open for a Big gain with nobody around him. I saw Big Mike Williams open a few times yesterday and Brady looked else where. Scott Chandler should be phase out of our Offense. If you are not getting Elite coverage he gotta make the Defense pay we dont need inconsistency now not with the current injuries on Offense. BB slogan is "Do Your Job" Scott Chandler is not doing his he should not be out there. TE Asante Cleveland on our looked good in Preseason.

Not what I expected for sure, he did have a nice TD catch you seem to be forgetting though;)

If Brady stops trusting both Chandler AND Williams, then trading Hooman may stop looking like a win for our side.

I posted something like this in another thread. I think we all expected a bit more, and that will not be tested with Jules going down for what appears to be significant time, if not IRed. But Chandler has been underwhelming at the least. I don't think he's bad and I do think he'll show up from time-to-time in this offense, but I think we all saw more. I don't see any reason why it's impossible still. Time will tell.

Chandler has had disappointing moments to be sure, although we should recall Edelman has had some bad drops as well. The problem for me is not the drops as much as that the compensatory plays are few and far between. And it may be worse for Dobson. It is easy and rather common to look at that guys who are not playing, such as Cleveland and Harper, and say let's give them a chance. We should recall that the coaches who see these guys play every day think our best chance to win has been with Chandler and Dobson. So as long as they are on the field, let's hope they improve and continue to make enough plays to win.

Pretty sure that Chandler was essentially benched after that bad drop because I don't remember seeing him on the field and I remember seeing Dobson instead. And Dobson made a nice sideline grab on the one play he was targeted.

I think Chandler will eventually come around! He just has to keep on fighting! It's not like the New England offense is the easiest to adapt to!
We were all hating on Amendola last year. He came thru when it counted. Hopefully, Chandler can pick it up too.

Patsfan2 let's call it like it is: you are miserable. No matter how bright the sky you find a dark cloud in it. Get some Prozac, seek professional help, do something just spare us your never-ending misery.

PF, no one is happy over such a blatant drop, but WTF man, there isn't a receiver on the field who hasn't had one just as bad this season. Do you want to "phase them out of the offense" too. I guess you must be thrilled with Lewis' injury since that saved you the trouble of "phasing him out of the offense" after that bad drop on a TD catch.

I know I'm being overly sarcastic, but that's what your post sounds like. You should know that the "off with head" mentality isn't a good approach.

Who caught one of Brady's TD passes yesterday?

Well these guys better start stepping up now. They will get reps.

Selective enforcement of outrage - we see it all the time.

Chandler caught a TD yesterday. Chandler had a bad drop yesterday. I saw JE drop three passes in a row a few games ago.

I also witnessed this board screaming for us to be rid of Danny Amendola...

Relax.

I received like 10 dislikes in this preseason's Chandler thread for saying he has horrible hands. I live in Buffalo so I watched this guy drop too many TDs over the last few years.

Anyone who thinks anything other than that Chandler has horrible hands simply hasn't watched him play much.

Amendola never had stone hands though which is Chandler's problem.

While Chandler is not a gifted receiver he hardly has hands of stone especially for a TE. I think that he will prove to be useful and semi adequate, which sometimes is good enough – just ask my wife.
