9 and 0, and feeling depressed :-(

Yeah, because testosterone keeps people from acting like clueless morons.
I'm saying they were being sissies.

Now don't try to start some pointless argument with me. I'm enjoying my team's epic win.

TWO injuries. Tony Romo and Dez.
Yes, two HUGE injuries. Losing a Pro Bowl QB is a disaster. I feel bad for Dallas, they should be outclassing the rest of that division but instead they're done.

I thought our best receiver is Gronk...after all, all I read here for the past two years is "Edelman is a nice little possession WR but he's no Calvin Johnson"...now we all all have to go into frickin' mourning because one of the WR's is down for a while? Please, spare me the morose chest beating and gnashing of teeth...it's FOOTBALL. You take hits, you get losses, you move FORWARD. The season is an exercise in attrition. I, as a long time fan, think we have the best head coach and the best staff in the NFL AND the best QB by far. I will remain entertained whether we make the big dance or not and it's a PLEASURE to watch a game like today and come out on the winning end. You can view it as a funeral procession. I don't.

Too bad Welker is taken

Dude chill--people are bummed he's out, he's our top wide receiver. Are you happy he's out? Are you neutral? A real fan should be bummed. Christ, we'll get over it, we just found out. Maybe start a thread for people happy or who don't care that Brady's favorite target just broke his foot!

No.

He's 44, and he couldn't play 8 years ago. So no. Everyone the Patriots need to win games is on the roster.
He's Troy Brown. He can do everything and then make the donuts!

I'm just reacting to YOUR reaction to a great game and a victory. You want to walk around all week with a rain cloud over your head be my guest. There is NOTHING you can do about Edelman's injury but there IS something you can do about obsessing over it.

Just ONE injury - Tony Romo.

Look at the Cowboys so far in this streak:

Falcons L 39–28
@Saints L 26–20 OT
Patriots L 30–6
@ Giants L 27–20
Seahawks L 13–12
Eagles L 33–27 OT
@Buccaneers L 10–6

I think they could've won some of the first few games with Dez (obviously not the NE game ;) ).

Yeah, suggested Chandler was disappointing last week and people here were, no, he's doing exactly what we want. Hogwash.

chandler is a miserable blocker which is why mike williams is always on the field.
bad thing is he isnt a threat in the receiving game. defenses can devote even more attention to gronk/etc since williams rarely makes plays.

they say 6-8 weeks...it is possible that minitron will return.

gronk has to be targeted at least 10-12 times a game now.
feed the beast!

Edelman was brady's security blanket. I expect some ugly stuff. Need to run the football and defense has to create turnovers.

As long as Brady has two of Gronk, Edelman, Lewis and Amendola, the odds are in his favor. There always will be competent-enough guys in addition, in this case LaFell and Dobson.

Unless it's LaFell's first game of the season. LaFell is dog refuse his first game of the season ...

Jamie Collins- All pro
Nate Solder- probowl
Sebastian Vollmer- all pro
Julian Edelman- probowl
Dion Lewis- would have been probowler
matthew slater- all pro

I like to see my team healthy because, when healthy they are unbeatable. Yet, how many teams can win missing 6(!!!!!) probowlers, on the road versus a hated rival?

I am sad for the players, but my goodness I revel in the toughness of this team.

Slight overstatement on those accolades, but I agree with your general point.

Regular XMas movies are great.

It's these B-movie, lovey-dovey, mushfests 24x7 that drive me to meth.

I edit romance novels. Really.

Fortunately, I don't have to sit through anything on TV I don't want to.

I got a real easy job for you then...my romance novel is one page...blank...:-(

Oh look another thread whining about the win, go troll somewhere else.

The Cowboys lost their season because of injuries. At least we still have a reason to watch. Oh, and 9-0 is pretty nice.

Cows have lost 7 straight, and they definitely could have won 2-3 of them with an elite coach. Proof that Garrett is no BB.

BB won a SB with an injury-riddled year, didn't he?
