It was awesome to win that game and be 9 and 0 don't get me wrong. But first the O Line gets riddled, then Lewis, and now Edleman, freaking Edleman! It's like I wait all week for these games, then we win and stay undefeated, but yet there is still a massive blow to balance out or even nullify the elation of the win. Last week all week they talked about how are we going to win without Lewis, now it is how are they going to win without Edleman.

I am trying to tell my self, look around he league... teams that we supposed to be in it this year are plagued with injury worse than us. I feel like all the rest of the games I am mostly going to be rooting against injury on every play. Today for instance I would have taken a loss , being 8 and 1, and still having a healthy Edleman going forward over getting the win and losing him.

Oh well, part of the game.

I feel lucky to be a pats fan. What BB and Brady are doing will never be seen again. Enjoy these times because you are going to miss it when it is over. I'd be depressed if I were a colts or Ravens fan this season. Or if I was Peyton Manning fan with his stats today

Edelman was brady's security blanket. I expect some ugly stuff. Need to run the football and defense has to create turnovers.

Vollmer and Cannon should be back for MNF.

The big concern is the void left by Dion Lewis, and not just because he's shifty, but his blitz pickup is top-notch. Blount and White both whiffed on key pickups tonight- it's a steep dropoff in talent as far as having a 3rd down back who is dependable.

Amendola is no Edelman, but he can hold his own.

It's football. People get hurt.

Troy Brown was a starting nickel corner on a SB Champion.

Oh, and by the way, today we won without Lewis AND Edelman. And most of the offensive line.

WTF is the matter with you? How long have you been a fan of this team? Mother of God...

Edelman should be back in January and that's when we really need him. Yeah the undefeated season probably won't happen but it will be a mentally tough team in the play offs.

Jamie Collins- All pro
Nate Solder- probowl
Sebastian Vollmer- all pro
Julian Edelman- probowl
Dion Lewis- would have been probowler
matthew slater- all pro

I like to see my team healthy because, when healthy they are unbeatable. Yet, how many teams can win missing 6(!!!!!) probowlers, on the road versus a hated rival?

I am sad for the players, but my goodness I revel in the toughness of this team.

Have a beer and watch a Hallmark Christmas Special with the girl. If you miss tonight's, 238 more will be on between now and February.
Your not kidding there. I DVR the new ones for my wife(she works every weekend) and she loves them. I love the older movies but the new ones are hard to sit through.

Hey, speaking of Troy Brown, can he still play?

No.

He's 44, and he couldn't play 8 years ago. So no. Everyone the Patriots need to win games is on the roster.

Vollmer and Cannon could be back next week.

Collins will be back.

Sheard only saw limited time today but he's back.

Martin should be back, he was getting a rapport with Brady before he got injured, he won't replace Edelman or Lewis but he definitely can help the offense.

And I still think White can contribute when he doesn't have to stay in to help block.

well...it's THAT time of year again..welcome back United Bawkers Of New England...

We're 9-0. We're the defending Superbowl Champions. Our main competition in the AFC just benched their starting QB after he threw 4 INT's. We have, at best, 2 competitive games left in the regular season.

All that plus . . . Edelman may be back for the playoffs.

Nevertheless, people on this site still can't be happy.

Regular XMas movies are great.

It's these B-movie, lovey-dovey, mushfests 24x7 that drive me to meth.
