Edelman: Broken Foot, Likely Back for Playoffs

You only have to be good enough to beat the Bengals. They're the only real obstacle for us in the AFC. You never know though once the playoffs start. Panthers are the class of the other conference but they aren't an OMG good team.

Panthers may be the class of the conference but Giants will always be the problem. Praying we don't see them again.

I think it's a sprain he will be back for Denver.

I hope you're right, but I'm not optimistic. I'll take a 4 week absence at this point and be happy for anything that gets him back for the playoffs.

Achilles injury perhaps? Seemed to be some force in that area during the play.

duffy from masslive saying boot and crutches

************..:(

What injury did Edelman get in 2012 that put him on IR?

I didn't see where he really hurt it either. So freakin' brutal.

I guess high ankle sprain or a broken bone like Dez had. Don't care about undefeated, just get healthy for the playoffs.

Watched it on replay multiple times and could not see a single reason for the injury. Jules never even grabbed his foot, don't want to speak too soon, but this really looks like a 2-4 week injury.

Now what. Edelman will at the minimum sit out for at least couple of games.
Now you have to rely on Dobson as the next WR, as Amendola takes of the slot.

The Broncos losing and their woes at QB help the situation. Obviously we still are battling for that #1 seed but we can survive the regular season and get the bye without Edelman but we definitely need him back by the playoffs.

If it's a high ankle sprain then that's a few weeks. Crud from Lewis now Edelman WTF we can't catch a break.

Other than winning, which was nice.

No reason to doom and gloom until we hear something official involving MRIs and such. Just gonna stay hopeful and enjoy a hard-fought win against a nemesis.

Bill is ridiculously conservative with injuries. I expect him back for the playoffs. Before that would be a pleasant surprise.
