FYI:

The starting interior OL will all start this week.

Define "Starting Interior Line".

I don't see Stork at Center or Wendell at RG.

The one that has been starting since Week 1. The one that pretty much every site that has a current depth chart has listed, including Patriots.com.

Also Wendell hadn't played all season and in the couple of games he was active he never saw any snaps outside of about 12 garbage time snaps against Miami

If we do have to line up Michael Williams at tackle, he'll have to be declared ineligible every single play...

Combine that with the fact that we got Hochuli, this could be a 5 hour game.

Hochuil is a self-absorbed league lackey.

Mason-Andrews-Kline

Well then that is the Mash Unit Starting Interior lineup. (no one considered Kline a starter until a few games in with his improved performance)

It's only been renamed the "Starting Lineup".

Without injury, the Interior Starting Lineup was Jackson-Stork-Wendell. These guys have done a great job in stepping in. Kline looks to have surpassed Wendell. 2 weeks ago, no one woulda thunk it.

If they had to go with Clausell and Barker at the Tackles, that would be this week's "Starting Lineup".

1 and perhaps 2 of their going-into-the-season 3 Interior OL's (Stork and Jackson) are unavailable in the Interior today.

So will "the Starting Tackles" - - Stork and Fleming. ;)

Outside of Stork, that's just hypothetical. I'm basing it off of the guys that have been there since game 1. I can't say either way if Wendell was still a starter if he had been healthy to start the season. As for Jackson and Mason both have starting game but it looked like Mason had become the starter after the bye week as he started in Dallas and Indy then got hurt. But out of Mason and Jackson, Mason have played more snaps and missed 1 game more.

In regards not only to the O-line, but the team in general- I won't be posting about ridiculous depth any more. Remember about 4 weeks, ago, many were chatting it up about what to do when Stork et al come back into the mix; a good problem to have? I believe it started with the talk about how well David Andrews has played. A few games later...yikes!

Now, we're having the opposite conversations. Ironic? So, we have extra safeties and such? Great! I'm not saying a thing beyond that.

I thought Jackson was already declared out.

Also fwiw my memory of the early season was a lot of noise about the interior OL featuring three rookies: Jackson, Andrews, and Mason. Andrews has played every snap of the season at center even since Stork came back so he is inarguably the starting center. Can't say for sure about the two guards because there was such a rotation when we had adequate depth. Think it might be more relevant who got the most snaps than who played the first one. Either way I think the guards are less clear cut, with Wendell and Kline as well as the two rookies in the mix.

It will be interesting to watch, for sure!

As long as the team keeps winning, all of this stuff is superfluous, even if it does, in fact, magnify the achievement(s). :D
