The implosion continues in Dallas - and this time the news is not about Greg Hardy.

Frustration boiling over? Dez Bryant blows up at reporters in locker room

Just another day around the Cowboys, with Bryant cussing out the media for something that most people around the scene say didn't happen. Maybe not a great day at Valley Ranch, but a strangely typical one.

Cowboys' Dez Bryant directs locker room tirade at reporters, accuses one of using slur

Frustrations within the Dallas Cowboys' locker room boiled over Thursday whenDez Bryant unleashed a lengthy, profanity-laced tirade directed at multiple reporters during the afternoon's media availability.

After walking around the locker room yelling and cursing at one reporter, Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPNDallas.com, another reporter, Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated's Monday Morning Quarterback, tweeted a portion of what Bryant had said.

The tweet read: "Dez Bryant just blew up on reporter, went on 10-min rant. 'Until they stop disrespecting this team I don't give a (expletive). (expletive) sick!'"

A few minutes later, Bryant saw the tweet — or was informed of it — and re-directed his rant toward Klemko.

"What the (expletive) are you doing?" Bryant yelled at Klemko. "If you're going to report something, report it right! Report the whole thing. Don't single me out like that! … That the (expletive) I'd be talking about right there!"

A bit of extra narrative for the Cincy-Arizona game.

One Bengals player says former QB Carson Palmer 'quit on us' - CBSSports.com

Me to Bengals player: Were you here when Carson was here? Player(w/smile): "You mean the year he quit on us?" It's on

C. Palmer: "It’s not just another game. I’m not going to bore you with that. There is definitely a lot on this one for me in particular."

I'm watching the full 4th quarter of SB 49 and it's amazing how much Al and Chris won't STFU about DeflateGate and how obvious Collinsworth's rooting interest is

Amen brother!

The anti bias in the media when it concerns New England is at an all time high. Faulk, Warner, Lewis, collinsworth, Michaels, all of ESPN etc etc etc.

Every time we win, they get more revved up!

Someone please take their microphones away!

The made up little story shouldn't have been mentioned during the game for this reason. If they wanted to talk about it pregame, fine, whatever, but we shouldn't have to listen to the NFL's story when watching the game.

"Isn't it good that for one night we can just ignore..." bla bla bla as he brings it up. I LOOKED BRADY RIGHT IN HIS EYE, I TELLS YA! It's gonna be a very COMPLICATED LEGACY I TELLS YA!!

I can't begin to imagine what another SB victory, or even appearance, would do to the talk of Brady's legacy.

Not only would he distance himself from deflate gate even further, but the media and NFL would have no choice but to ball wash the hell out of him.

I don't tune into my local sports (radio) station too often.

but, back in the Feb, these guys were like everyone else and wanting their pound of flesh from Brady over Defamegate. I heard them recently, and they talked about the NFL* (my translation) "making it up/fabricating something out of innuendo" and I was wanting to know when/how their perception changed. I believe the host that mentioned it is a Jets fan and was thinking I didn't hear it right.

Which radio station?

WEEI (depending on show) has been more pro Brady. The Sports Hub has been anti Brady.

The media and league trolling will continue and court case will proceed.

All people will do is say he is the GoAT....but.

A SB win will change nothing.

Being RelocatedPatFan, I'm in Panther territory so it isn't as applicable to the Boston media/market. But, the station does have connections to ESPN (they play Mike and Mike for example), but the afternoon is all local guys.

And they said the NFL* made up Defamegate?

Now that I'm giving it some thought, it was more along the lines of "going after Brady with no evidence". But, my mind still seems to think of it along the lines that they didn't believe the charges were valid. Trust me, I'd like to hear it again because it seemed like a 180 degree turnabout and I might have been too stunned at the time to get an accurate "what did they say exactly".

I have been very careful not to make a parallel of deflategate to "Making a Murderer" because obviously deflating a football and deflategate is nowhere near the seriousness of murder and the controversy that the documentary brings, but I just can't help but think of the striking similarity between the prosecution and all the things they said, and how the public already had the man declared guilty before his fair trial and without hearing his side of the story. All the prosecution would say is "Well, if not Steven Avery, who else?" and "Do you really think the cops were out to get him?" That sounds EXACTLY like everything that happened with the false leaks. With the shoddy investigation. With "Well Brady would benefit the most, so he had to have known." The worst part is Brady never got a chance to defend himself. What I'd give to see all of Deflategate in a trial where you can't just throw **** to the wall and hope it sticks.

You deeply underestimate the media. And, of course, the NFL.

Here are a few.

#1 We may look back on the Eagles game and regret something about it more than the loss. That play where Brady went out and caught a pass was genius. No one saw it coming and that is why it worked. That is a play we may have wished the Pats could have kept in the bag till the post season. It will never work as well as it worked there even if it does work.

#2 The Pats offense seems to be stumbling a lot right now but for some reason i can not bring myself to be too worried. It seems just a few bad playcalls and missed plays away from being elite again. You can not overstate how much Edelman means to this offense as this point. He is almost as important as Gronk.

#3 Though this Defense has been good it seems like it is still not hitting on everything. I think Hightower has not been the same since his injury and sitting out this week and next week would go a long way to getting him back to as close to 100% as possible. When he and Collins are 100% everything just looks so much better.

I think that, reluctantly, BB finally came to the conclusion that getting the Edelmans, Hightowers, etc. relatively healthy for the big show one & done series is worth risking losing HFA by having them suit up. As you say we are a totally different team with all these guys playing vs them out or limping around.

Agreed, and he's seen enough of 85%+ guys getting re-injured to probably make it not worthwhile.

Either way, in BB I trust (plus he has far more information than we do).
