The Giants run defense is not very good, and that was even before their best run stuffer was lost for the season. We know this team likes to target the other team's weaknesses instead of playing "by the book". I bet that is exactly what they try to do and they'll have success doing it.

Will be fun to watch them try to rush Brady as Blount runs right over them or by them. I think he's due for a big game.

If Lewis wasn't hurt, I might agree with you. But I think that's a long shot without him. I think the game, like most big games, will be in Brady's hands from start to finish.

The Giants are just bad on defense all over. Hell, they're ranked last in sacks at 9. I honestly feel this is a game where Gronk is gonna smash everything in his path.

I'm confused how can a Defense who show that they cannot stop anybody contain the GOAT??? Also we pass to set up the run not the other way around with Dion Lewis this wouldn't even be in question. Now we just have to wait and see how his fill-ins work out.

Apparently Coughlin is 5-1 vs BB, so he'll really have to work some magic this time with that defense.

The only way they can contain Brady is the way they used to: by knocking him on his ass. The Pats will double JPP and dare someone else to win one on one battles and I don't think they can do that. I can see Brady throwing for 200 yards and 2 TD's and the Pats running for almost 200 more and a couple of scores. Basically, it will look like the Colts games of the last couple of years.

How did they do it in 2011. This team defies all logic when they play the pats.

In 2011, I think there defense was something like 25th or worse. And the Pats only scored 17 points, and only 7 in the second half. The Giants historically play up to their competition. But 2007 and 2011 have nothing to do with this game.

Bold Predictions.

Amendola has a big day. He is due and with Lewis hurt he will be in the line up a lot more now. Coughlin is no dummy and he tries desperately to limit Gronk and Edelman. Amendola benefits from this and feast on whatever scrub they put on him.

White has a good day too. I think this team is coming after Brady big time. They want to get to him and will be amped up for it. They want to be aggressive and attack. The screen pass will be open a lot and while White is no Lewis if you give him the ball in open space with a few blockers in front of him he can make some yards. I see White taking 3 or 4 good size screen passes.

Beckham has a good day and is given a lot of 1v1s. There will of course always be a high safety in case but I think this is a game like Pitt in which BB wants to give Butler 1v1 game action with an elite WR to see how much he has progressed since week 1. Though catches will be made the safety will not allow that long 50 yard TD. The game plan might change if it is close late in the first half.

Did I miss the news that the NE offensive line is now healthy? I partially agree with the OP and expect the NE run game to be more involved and I base that on NE's offensive approach in the 4th quarter last week. Inexperienced guards forced to slide over to tackle....not the ideal arrangement for a pass heavy game plan.

I'm worried about this game. I still think Blount isn't that good and only gets going when the other side gets tired. I think it's going to be on Brady to get the ball out quickly as usual, and the G-men will be gunning for him. They are a little in his head and rightfully so as they have proven they can and will solve Brady. I just hope his revenge tour attitude trumps his hesitation attitude when playing the Giants. Go Patriots!

I feel like no matter what the outcome we're going to see one or two Brady picks, possibly not his fault.

A hurt Gronk + Welker drop
Whatever excuse we want to make, they have found ways to beat better Patriots teams the last three games they played the Pats. All three times the Pats were the better team going into the game, yet at the end the Giants came out on top.

Brady is throwing 40+ all over their trash secondary

30 since this will be a blowout in the first half and Blount will gash their crappy run defense

2007 and 2011 Giants were completely different teams. They had formidable pass rushers such as Strahan, Tuck, Umenyiora, and JPP.

now, all that is left of that unit is a 3 cripple-fingered JPP with a boxing glove on, backed by the 32nd ranked defense.

I don't care about stats. Brady can throw for 11 yards for all I care, as long as the Pat's win. If they do it by rushing for 250+ yards, so be it.
