Perhaps. The 2013 team had a lot of injured key players including Gronk, Spikes, Mayo, Wilfork, and Volmer. Besides Lewis and Solder, this years injuries seem to be roll players.

Although on BB's team, every player is pretty important. And sort of replaceable too.

Effects of a cast on a CB:

Greatly reduces chance of an INT or of a fumble recovery.
Might slightly increase the chance of a FF.
Might slightly decrease the chance of a DPI call.
Interferes w/ press coverage or anything else around the LOS.
Interferes w/ some tackle attempts ... Ken can explain why it shouldn't interfere with others.

Coleman played on 55 of the 58 defensive reps on Sunday. As our nickel back, he plays lots, lots more than many of our starters.

You clearly aint following other teams to say this. Look toward Bills, Chargers, 49ers, Packers, Steelers, Ravens should I go on? Trust me, Patriots had few so fare.. But same 2 groups have been hit ( CB and OL )
