LOL - Hilarious Denver Media Homerism

I can't deny that they've been the center of the NFL universe ... in the regular season. However, it must suck being SB favorite every single year since 2012 and coming up short every single time.

Typical of a Peyton Manning led team.

lol Disagree entirely. The Broncos have been the center of the Bronco universe. That's about it.
They were media darlings in 2013, but that's it, and only because we lost our entire offense in the offseason and regular season (Gronk, Hernandez, Welker).

New England has been the center of the NFL universe since 2003/2004 and certainly after 2007 minus the 2008 season.

I still remember the articles that followed Tom stamping out Peyton in his return, and I still remember the articles of Tom stamping out Peyton last year. Even when Denver had its season in the sun, NE still whipped that ass in a humiliating comeback, and Denver lost to like every playoff team that faced.

Maybe it just feels that way because I hear way more about the Broncos than I need to.

In 2013 it was, "they have the best offense of all time."

This year it's, "they have the best defense of all time."

What about the endless amount of Peyton ball washing?

Love or hate the Patriots, they are undeniably the center of the NFL universe

Nothing wrong with being a media homer though. Just giving the local fans what they want.

Yeah, I don't know what universe FourierSeries and Mike Klis live in. Maybe someone cvan get those guys a computer with a better internet connection.

Since at least January 26, 2015 - there has been only one team at the center of the NFL Universe. It's not even close.

I was referring to the entire period between 2012-2015. Of course we've received a ton of media coverage due to Deflategate and the SB victory.

But over the last few years, it's been mostly about Peyton and Denver.

I can't believe it.....they're such homers

but I'm a bigger homer

Fourier, during that time, Denver is not even in second place - - they 3rd are behind Seattle and the Legion of Boom/Richard Sherman/Beast mode Show.

If you want to move the goalposts though and make it about 2012-2015, nothing beats the media scruitny of Tom Brady and the Patriots over the last 11 months - - nothing. And it is enough to more than cover the past 3 years.

Peyton Manning never knocked the death of the Saudi King off the top story on the Evening News. :p

Denver is always overblown. It's just how their fans are. Look at what it was like there in 2011 before Manning was even there.

Either way, it's obvious Denver receives more media coverage than deserved, given their lack of accomplishments over the last 3 years.

C'mon, Fourier, it's not even a legit discussion.

They have only one player in the top 25 selling player jerseys - - Manning at #13:

Check out the top-selling NFL jerseys

"Center of NFL Universe" :p:p

I like to read other message boards sometimes, and in my experience, Denver Bronco fans are some of the most homeristic, delusional fans in the league... sure there are rational, objective fans (like the ones who call Manning for what he is) but many, many are just downright ridiculous in their view of the Broncos and their importance to this league... you would think they were the Steelers, Giants, Packers 9ers and Patriots rolled into one. Their media just follows suit.

It's still a 3rd tier media market - so boosterism is rampant.
