Per Vic Lombardi, expect to see Peyton Manning on injury report with a foot injury

Injuries are piling up for poor old Peyton... neck, foot and arm.. what is left???

It's only Peyton manning with a foot injury. Did it really deserve a thread and all the negative comments ?

I think this is all part of the media and Dever's "the Manning excuse tour". It reminds of the time when ever Steve McNair got an owey it made the national news because the narrative was just how tough and courageous he was. At the same time nothing was ever heard about Brady's toughness until some time after the season, it leaked out that he'd had surgery on something.

(BTW- Steve McNair WAS a tough QB who took a lot of hits because of his running ability. But there came a point where the media just made too much of it for my taste/ It w;as sort of. like what they are doing with Manning, all ball washing and excuses . Meanwhile there are tons of players who stoically man up and play with the pain.

A trait of an aged player is getting injured more and not rebounding from injuries.

more excuses for manning...
guy's body is falling apart.

Well to be fair regarding TFB, when you are winning you don't need excuses.

There are threads regarding Patriots O line injuries as well. The interest is not in the celebration of an opposing team's player rather in gauging the Patriots road throughout the season.

As far as the "negative" comments go I see nothing more that a few humorous and harmless fact based jokes. :)

After his forehead reduction surgery he's been stubbing his toes a lot more, apparently.

You know what the weather's going to be like in three weeks? Man, I wish New England weathermen (and women) were that good.

Talking about this Sunday's game here in Denver with the Chiefs. It could be 15F in 3-weeks. Just saying that the weather will not be a factor but even if it was I don't think the Chiefs have a shot.

In fact, if both us and bengals win out I think we would take it on strength of victory and possible strength of schedule. Certainly points if it gets that far
.....until the NFL unveils a little used tiebreaker rule that when both teams are undefeated the tie breaker is team name alphabetically.

Who will remain in the NFL longer starting from today: Peyton or Welker?

It's going to be 70F here in Denver this Sunday. The cold weather is not here yet so those of you looking for some help from old man winter will have to wait. That being said I'm not sure the Chiefs can win with that awful QB they have.
Chiefs can win...if they score 5 or 6 defensive touchdowns.

More likely an integrity index implemented by the Omissioner.
