just sayin

I don't think I've ever been as much of a homer as I am now.......

It's not homerism if the team can back it up.

I was bigger homer back in the early nineties when I would try and convince myself this is the year following a 2-14 season.

Isn't homerism by definition always both:

1) justifiable (they're the team you like... of course you root for them) and

2) unjustifiable (Player wearing a Somebody Other Than The Pats uniform? I hate you. Put on a Pats uniform instead? I love you! )

;)

Looking back, I felt this way after 2004. Then the team was humbled in the 06 AFC Championship game, then again in Super Bowl 42, then we lost Brady for a season and then again in Super Bowl 46. This time around I am simply appreciating the winning for what it is, knowing how easily it can fade.

...and why is this a thread?

Uh oh... cheese it guys...

;) (j/k)

They win in 06 if a-hole Fisher doent coach his players dirty and not take Rodney out at the knees.

That is justifiable homerism based on fact.

Hey, when everyone's out to get you, paranoia is just good sense. ;)

I feel like the luckiest dude in the world to be a fan during the Brady/Belichick era. I don't think we will ever see this again. It's an amazing feeling. I'm a huge homer haha

Speaking of 'Homerism', here's a video I posted this morning:

I finished it late last night, and this ended up going in a completely different direction from what I originally wrote out. I blame the music, got a little caught up trying to make it fit the track and went a little over the top.
