Sorry, as I'm sure it's been long since asked and answered...But who's the Hottie in your Avatar? :)

Wait...I thought all the avatars of people had to be a photo of the actual poster.
That's not you, Grid?!

Didn't recognize her with the glasses. Always wondered that.

I want to know who @Deus Irae avatar is.

That's actually Deus in real life, believe it or not. By the way you're one of my all time favorite players; really enjoyed watching you run the ball.

What's "hubba hubba" in Sanskrit? :p

I still have no idea why I picked Robertweathers. Talk about an obscure enigma.

No worries :) but here is something for ya: Right click on an image and click copy 'image url'. Open a browser window and type in Google Image search. When the Google search page loads click the camera icon, right click in the newly open field, click paste, press enter.
Voila! Your 'unknown image' suspense will be lifted 90% of the time....

Their weakness is our offensive personnel. It has already been proven. Harris and Talib cannot match up with Edelman or Amendola. They have no answer for Gronk or Lewis.

They will try to get to Brady, but pressure off the edges doesn't affect him very much, and we know Bill will devise a game plan to negate their pass rush.

This is a perfect match up for us so long as we have our key players healthy.
Aye, there's the rub, but if the make-it-up-as-you-go o-line can keep TB12 upright and Gronk's and Edelperson's hands don't fall off, we should be o.k.

Speaking of the Broncos -- I found this gem on Reddit. Refer to my new signature. LOL

The Patriots right now rank No. 5 in scoring defense and are on pace to surrender just 286 points. In each case it would be the team’s best defense since 2009.

Sure, New England faced tougher offenses last year and boasted bigger names on defense, especially with Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis at the corners. But even if we adjust for the quality of competition, New England is better in “relative defense” this year than it was last year.

The 2014 Patriots held opposing offenses to 3.1 points per game below their average against other opponents. Teams scored 19.6 PPG vs. the Patriots and 22.7 PPG vs. everyone else.

This year, the Patriots are holding opposing offenses to 5.1 PPG below their average against other opponents. Teams score 17.9 PPG vs. the Patriots but 23.0 PPG vs. other teams. That figure is good enough for No. 6 in relative scoring defense, best by the Patriots in years.

The defense had been excellent. 5th in points but also only 4(?) points behind #1.
The run defense over the last full season (1st half 15 plus last half 14) is #1 in the nfl.
This d is for real.

Since you cite pass rush, then the Pats pass rush and excellent LB corps will hold Denver to 3, a long FG. Pats 6, Donks 3.
That's quite possible, our offense wouldn't know what consistency is if it slapped them in the face.

No weakness? LOL... last year's ass whooping they got from us says otherwise.
That was last yr with a scheme that didn't fit the personnel.

Denver went into the I indy game way over confident. It was 1 bad game though.

I think one of the under appreciated aspects of the Pats over the last two years has been consistency of effort. It's true; the Broncos came out flat to Indy. They have players who have that personality type (most teams do). That has very rarely happened with the Pats of late. I think it's been nearly a couple years since they came out and truly laid an egg, exhibiting poor effort. I have heard any number of pundits claim that over a sixteen game season, every team has an occasional week where they're "not ready to play". It's a common excuse that you hear or read, but hasn't been happening in New England. The Patriots execution can be variable, but their effort has been present every week. Some weeks they click, and some weeks they grind it out, but they have been ready to play each and every game for the last several years, since maybe week #1 last season against Miami. That is quite rare in the NFL and we should appreciate it.

The Pats are comprised of a bunch of hard nosed players who really do invest fully and come out ready to play every week. You can hear the appreciation in Belichick's post game comments over the last couple seasons. I think he really likes coaching these guys. Denver may have more talent on the defensive side of the ball, and that can make them very dangerous on a given Sunday, but I truly believe our guys have more character/commitment. It's been great to watch.

If you mean they don't score a TD every time they have the ball I'd agree, otherwise this is ludicrous. They have scored in every quarter except q1 of game 1. You don't get more consistent than that. Defenses get paid too you know...

First four games last year. Since then, I'd agree.
