The Pats refrained from firing back at Mike Tomlin after the Steelers coach made comments about headset malfunctions following Pittsburgh's Kickoff Classic defeat in Foxborough. In October, Belichick and his players shrugged off any potential "revenge" overtones before and after their victory over the Colts, the team that instigated the deflated-ball investigation, aka PSI: New England. They seem to be trying to move past the scandal rather than taking out their wrath on the world. I know I've expressed a lot of strong opinions about the behavior of Brady and others implicated during the NFL's investigation over the last 10 months, and I'm not expecting a lot of hugs the next time I visit Gillette Stadium. However, I have immense respect for an organization that is blessed to have one of the best coaches of all time, one of the greatest quarterbacks in history and an owner, Robert Kraft, whose vision and ingenuity transformed a long-pathetic franchise into football's crown jewel.

Used to like brady. But his coverage this offseason was anything pro brady. He is one of worst hypocrite ever. He wants players to be accountable and answerable but you challenge him on something on twitter, he will just block you .
And his tone doesnt change here also. He says he doesnt expect hugs when he visits gillette. Who the f*** is he anyway to receive any hugs even if he were pro BB /pats?

Well he is from the bay area and silver had connections with brady and his family . I dont this offseason he wrote one pro brady thing or talked to anyone from his family even after it was all over.

Don't give Silver any credit. Ever. He's nothing but a ****ing windsock.

In similar news, Borges' latest article flat-out praises BB. (Borges' subject is the versatility of Pats' players, which stands the team in great stead when the injuries descend, and even Borges felt that if he wrote about it he had to give BB credit.)

If I am correct, this idiot - who claimed them to be a good friend of Brady and his family - then kept quiet when none of his allegations were true.

More sad - he did not have the guts to write, nay, speculate anything similar about Peyton and his contract talks with the Colts around the same time, which eventually led to PM leaving for Denver in a fury. What good is this guy as a 'reporter'?

This smacks of a guy who wound up on the wrong side of a story and is now trying to weasel his way under the fence to the other side. Peter King wrote a couple of pieces like this during the 2007 season after ranting about Belichick and Spygate at the beginning of the year. Nobody fell for it then, either.
