Talib - dirty play of the year!

I think he or one of the other Broncos had been poked in the eye, and he lost it. Boneheaded. But if you want to talk about a dirty punk, try TJ Ward. His entire reason for being on the field seems to be to try and injure people.
It was so blatant, it had to be retaliatory....

If an eye poke results in only a fine....why not walk up to starting QBs every game and.....

Isn't that the Ravens strategy?

So out of control his teammate had to drag him off.

Von Miller isn't exactly the brightest bulb. He went after Dan Connolly in one of Denver's losses to the Patriots . . . and it ended up him vs. the entire Patriots OL.

On ESPN, they were calling it an extremely dirty play. Saying Talib should be suspended. Mort of all people called him out for claiming it was an "accident".

Schefter said the NFL is "reviewing the incident". My guess is it'll be a 4 month "independent" investigation with any potential discipline not coming out until the offseason if/when Peyton announces his retirement.

Hopefully we've covered this move in practice.

I'd hate for us to face the Broncos unprepared.

T.J. Ward also targetted Luck's knee earlier in the game even though he had plenty of time to raise his target area.

There you go, Galib....

RT @AdamSchefter: NFL is suspending Broncos CB Aqib Talib for one game for eye poke, as @MikeKlis reported. Talib is appealing.

Come on Chiefs! No Talib, no Ware..... you better get a 'W' out of this!

I'm just not that upset about the Talib eye poke. I'm more concerned about TJ Ward's knee hunting.

I remember when Wilfork poked someone in the eye. I didn't really care there either.

Not the classiest move by any stretch, but Ward's knee hunting far more egregious.

*7-1
Cheaters never win.

Hah! Don't count on it @dannydyn

Talib suspended for 1 game. He appeals, suspension reduced to fine.(see Suh) NFL* tried but they appealed...we wanted Talib suspended...but he appealed...Not out fault:rolleyes:

Lol too funny that Talib appealed. Anyone wanna bet he will win that one?

the broncos still haven't won a SB without cheating the salary cap!

One game suspension, to rest up before Pats.

He'll win it for sure.

Derrick Brooks - former teammate of Talib in Tampa (2008)
James Thrash - born in Denver, Colorado

Word on the street is that Aqib poked out many eyes on Derrick's behalf back in '08.

If he appeals, and the suspension ends up being upheld, it would be funny if he misses the game against us.
