Faith Hill is old now.

Current intro gets me pumped, but the faith hill one got me even more pumped.

Carrie is plenty hot. The problems are : country music, lame song with lame lyrics.

I HATE the stupid, flashy pregame opening 'show'. Ditch the pop star and awkward crap music and just put together a good hype/history film of the two teams playing. NFL films quality intro. Maybe a mix of historic plays from each team as well as key plays from the season, etc.

I tune in to watch FOOTBALL, not ****ty pop music. Maybe I'm drank too much of BB koolaid, but I don't want any distractions. No pregrame or halftime music. No stupid side stories. Football.

So true here are some old intro these bring back some good memory's.

Holy cow old man, Faith Hill started doing that song way back in 2007, I don't think there's anyone alive today who remembers it. What did you do, drive a Trans-am and listen to it on your 8-track?

ESPN has somehow managed to turn that 2-minute opening into 16+ hours of programming on Mondays.

You know the players are the ones who are not supposed to get distracted, right? We can look at other things before, during, and after the game and it won't affect the team performance. You can also change the channel before the game and during half time to do something more entertaining if you don't want to watch what they present. Of course a game introduction would be better, but why complain about halftime music? What would you prefer they do differently during half time? They would not keep the pregame show the same if it wasn't doing well. They'd change the intro if it wasn't doing well. It is, hardcore footballs fans might not like it but MOST (average) fans do.

Give a thumbs up if you remember Faith Hills shiny greased up beautiful legs….

That's my problem, I don't like (or respect) the average fans!

The SNF intro is awful and if you like seeing girls I hear there is this thing called porn taking over the internet.

Also: my dislike has nothing to do with it being sung by a woman. They can put something together that actually honors the game of Football and builds excitement and it still be a woman's voice singing. But a song about how we're about to a watch a game of football after watching football for the previous eight hours is stupid and the pseudo-rhyming is Elementary School quality.

Hank + Aerosmith = Ready for some football! Yes, In know it's from Monday Night Football - the only other time outside of Sunday afternoon that football should be played (not a fan of TNF or SNF). This was the night to showcase the best matchups.
