Schefter on Lewis: No swelling yet (good) but ACL loose (bad)

Id take being back in 6 weeks without a doubt. No questions asked.

Well, I'd have questions about how good he'd be when coming back, but what we really care about starts 10 weeks from now if I did the arithmetic correctly.

I think I'll wait for official news before I follow some of you guys jumping off the Tobin.

Every time a player leaves a game early we must prepare his obit. This board has had everyone on the team on IR at one point or another, followed by the guessing game of what free agent must be signed RIGHT NOW.

I have a family member that's a nurse. I asked her what the hell a loose ACL was. They are saying a loose ACL is typically a grade 1 or 2 strain, grade 2 being partially torn fibers. The fact that he was able to walk off means there was some sort of stability there.

Put me in the cautiously optimistic category. If we had this guy available for the playoffs, we should all be thrilled. I don't want to hear crying because he's not available for the Denver game.

As long he wasn't carted off he'll be fine.

Devastating... but at least he got his contract. I thought he sold high on himself and could have earned more. Unfortunately, in the NFL your season can end on the next snap.

God this sucks on so many levels...
