Are u naive? Go look at all my statements. Hardy's a pos and should be locked up yet this victim decided it's ok. Hardy's waking free because of her actions

I diddnt know victims had say in if someone goes to jail. And here all along I thought the USA had a legal system. Silly me

You are coming off as someone who just sounds bitter and jealous that your sister did not get some huge payout while this girl did. I cant see any other reason why you would focus on the payout with that attitude.

Maybe the moral of the story is dont date poor scumbags?

Nope. My sister's doing just find. She's a teacher. She doesn't have a price on her head.

They do and she ran from it. She ran from the prosecutors

How many times does it have to be pointed out to you that HARDY WAS ALREADY CONVICTED AND DID NOT RECEIVE ANY JAIL TIME??

Let's once again ignore the fact that he wasn't going to jail, because I'm honestly not sure you can read all that well.

You've spent the whole time trashing this woman ... THE VICTIM ... because she didn't want to go through a SECOND trial.

Most women don't end up testifying against their batterers (most of whom aren't rich) for reasons a pinhead like you just can't grasp.

At first I thought you just had a hard time accurately expressing yourself, but it's clear you're just an illiterate victim-blaming douchenozzle.

She was afraid. If she wasn't she could have testified and later filed a civil suit for the money.

Chances are he threatened her, she believed it and took the money.

Why Victims Of Domestic Violence Don’t Testify, Particularly Against NFL Players

She has to choose what was best for her and if she felt like taking the money was the safest alternative then so be it.

Point being is that your cookie cutter "every bad guy goes to jail when the victim testifies" is an overly simplistic view of the issue.

Read the article and you'll find that 70% of the DV cases dropped were because the victim refused to cooperate. It is not unique.

BTW: I doubt she got 10 million.

Afraid of what? What happened to her was awful but she had a chance to stand up for every victim of domestic abuse but instead let this walk free

How many battered women forums are you on? How much money have you given to the cause?

Your just an idiot giving her excuses. I rather go through a second trail then have this pos buy me

"Afraid of what?" he says.

Yes.

His financial resources (see NFL) and the lack of intestinal fortitude of the DA also had something to do with it.

I wonder if she makes the same decision if he received a lifetime ban.

The DA has an extraordinarily difficult case without witnesses against top legal counsel. The State has to pick its battles, and, with no witnesses, this was not a winner. So, it has nothing to do with intestinal fortitude, it has to do with limited resources.

And, no, people should not be precluded from earning a living because they committed a crime. Do you really think that makes sense? Even when convicted, they should be eligible to rejoin the workforce after paying their debt to society. He wasn't even convicted.

Well i have lived it through my sister and helped her through it and thank goodness she has overcome it

Just so I'm clear here: if your sister decided she wasn't going to testify a second time for whatever reason you'd blame her, right?

Well i have lived it through my sister and helped her through it and thank goodness she has overcome it
That is admirable of you....

So your answer to my questions is none and zero

And thank goodness you can use it to judge other battered women. I bet you had a card printed up and everything.

Come on, let's be fair: he's like a motivational speaker for battered women. "Testify or you're ****!"

Nope. Many battered women might be shaking their heads by how this turned out. In the end the POS got away with it
