Can't believe with the glut of uber talented and available cornerbacks that could be had for a song that the Patriots didn't pull the trigger.

Belichick the GM keeps killing Belichick the HC.

The OP of the thread regarding Rodgers propensity to stare down the rush instead of going through his progressions was spot on. His inability to hit open receivers all night doomed the Packers offense from the get-go.

I do not foresee Brady doing something so punitive to his offense, unless the Broncos unleash a pass rush up the middle that they have not had hitherto.
Let me guess, you're a lawyer...

I wonder if bill though about rashean mathis. Our cornerback situation's troubling. The depth's a problem with
nine games to go

James Stewart @IAmJamesStewart
For whatever reason, the Patriots and McCourty couldn't make the deal happen.

Tom E. Curran @tomecurran
An effort was made, however.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Yup. They worked it hard. To no avail.

I don't mind rolling with those corners, its just tough if someone twists a knee or ankle.
I'm with you here. I like our secondary as it is, I think they're formidable. But we're an injury or two from not being in a good spot. And I like Coleman.

Now I'm more pissed knowing we tried hard but didn't get him...

Remember, in a pinch you can always put DMac at CB. Sure its not his natural position but he could be adequate. Harmon has been playing well so its not like the FS position would suddenly suck.

Not with a bang but a whimper...

I wasn't expecting an overwhelming trade, if any, to happen for the Pats ...... and I'm very happy the Thomas to Denver trade fell through.

See. Pats tried but Titans didn't want trade him. Can't do anything about that. But i'm sure some chicken littles on here find that unacceptable.

McClain is still out there too. Not that he is good or anything.

Well....they do look alike. Maybe Jason can slap on #32, show up during the playoffs and play man coverage?:p

Yep, Surprisingly not one of them has gone into "Kraft is cheap" mode.
