I used to live in Stamford. I live off of Hamilton Ave in the Glenbrook Area. I live in Trumbull now and still getting f**cked!!

yeah, familiar with the area... I live in north Stamford nowadays, but used to live downtown on Strawberry Hill Ave. not too far from Hamilton ave.

yup, I live in Stamford (Lower Fairfield county) and I'm one of those who got f**ked. I will have to settle for some 5hitty *** quality online stream. Not giving up.

Are you one those people in that area that has both FOX CT and FOX NY on their cable system? Although i'm pretty sure all the systems down there have both.

That's the frustrating thing, the area of the state where there is a sizable giants fanbase gets FOX NY which shows the giants game.

A few years ago I was told by FOX CT that if it was up to them they would show the Pats game over giants when there is a conflict like this but the NFL gives them the giants game.

The NFL f**cking Pats fans?!?!

Nah, can't be.

For what it's worth, TV Guide currently says I'll be getting the Pats game on Sunday. I live in the Hartford area. I'll have to monitor this.

No, although I'm in CT, I'm 10 minutes from the NY state line. I live in the middle of Jets/Giants land. I have only one local Fox station and it's the NY one. The other Fox channels I have are Fox sports, which do not broadcast any football games. They do soccer, F1, etc.

506 Sports will tell you exactly what you're getting

Ya I saw that too but everything else, including history say it won't be.

Week 9 NFL Television: Once Again Fox in CT Broadcasts Giants over Patriots

John Morgan

The undefeated Patriots are setting viewership ratings records, but apparently that's not enough for one network to broadcast the team throughout all of New England.

Fox Sports has WTIC in Hartford broadcasting the 4-4 New York Giants rather than the 7-0 New England Patriots next Sunday. Granted, Hartford is pretty much the invisible boundary between Patriots/Red Sox/Bruins/Celtics fans and those that follow New York/New Jersey sports teams, but there is a bit more to it. Fox owns the contract to broadcast NFC games, and they (much more than CBS with the AFC) are loathe to widely distribute and promote a game involving a team from the other conference. The corporate decision making seems to buy into the idea that a casual fan may like the competitor’s product better; why risk losing an on-the-fence fan to a superior team? What fans and viewers in that area prefer is not necessarily a priority.

In last Thursday night’s 36-7 drubbing of the Miami Dolphins, the Patriots generated a 45.9 household rating and a market share of 62 in the Boston area, making it the most watched Patriot game of the season. That is the fourth-highest local rating ever for a Patriots game, and it did well outside of 495 as well. Nationally the Pats-Fins game also performed well; the game delivered a 12.6 household rating and a market share of 21, up 8.6 percent from the Patriots 2014 TNF matchup. Ratings measure the percentage of television-equipped households that are tuned into that particular show or game. A share is the percentage of televisions in use at the time that are tuned in.

was that back in 12 when they didn't show the pats opener against the cardinals?

I will have to watch online stream. This is horse sh##. Just to think the Pats came close to being in CT hurts at times lol. On top of that pain you have this hogwash smh

I don't understand why I am getting the Jacksonville Jets game at 1:00. What a joke.

This is the week I have to go to UConn for the weeked.

You guys are lucky at least you get to watch a few of their games. In stuck with the Dolphins and only get to watch them twice a year unless it's blacked out. When it's not the Phins they push Dallas on us and if Dallas played the skins we would be be forced that crap too.

Sounds like my neck of the woods.... Mill Rd, off of Old Long Ridge, around the corner from La Rocca's (Giovani's) market. :)

Where do you live now?

I used to bike to Giovanni's ( used to be IGA - Lees market) as a kid. I lived on Rocky Rapids.
