"Cam Newton is a hundred million dollar quarterback."

Refund? Carolina has a very good defense so they'll be competitive. There are lots of guys who can step back there and run the ball from the QB position and they'll do it for a lot less than $100 million.

Cam Newton = star

Tim Tebow = joke

What is the difference?

Tebow career completion percentage = 47.9
Cam Newton completion percentage = 59.2

Similar interception percentage. and rushing average, with Cam edging out Tebow by .5%

This is Cam Newton's 5th season. Michael Vick is in season 13. Cam Newton is already threatening if not surpassing Vick's production.

Newton was also a day 1 starter, has won 2 divisions and been to 2 Pro Bowls.

Newton is bigger, stronger, has a better arm, can run almost as well - and is a more accurate passer.

Michael Vick wishes he was ever as good as Cam Newton.

I am mostly referring to Vick's days in ATL. It's really an unfair to put Newton above him, especially considering the rule changes for QBs and WRs, during Vick's glory days. Also, Vick was always injured, he missed a couple seasons while serving time in prison and then he had a breakout season in PHI until he got paid and got lazy.

Newton averages nearly 100+ more pass attempts a season than Vick, which will give him more yards, but in terms of passing, he and Vick are equals because neither one of them were all that good at it. Vick tossed jump balls to Crumpler and Newton does the same with Olsen. On the ground, Vick was a legit threat, defenses respected Vick's run game. Defenses could care less about Newton. Newton won like 6 games last season to win his division, that hardly deserves a mention. Vick averaged more wins than Newton, when playing 12 games or more during a season.

This is why the panthers will never win a superbowl. Taking a timeout after a big play? Unacceptable.

Kinda makes you wonder if Colts taped the Panthers walkthrough. Noway they could drop that many passes on their own.

That's a lot of caveats.

If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a trolleycar.

It's too bad for the Panthers Steve Smith is such a dbag that they had to dump him. They could really use him. Guy is a BIG BIG time gamer. Kevin Garnett like in getting in people's heads. Panthers don't have much of a chance to contend with these receivers.

To be fair, Kelvin Benjamin got IR'd in preseason. He's the guy who got Jaemis Winston drafted #1 overall, after all.

I think you need to show the pic and do it in full form :) We should turn this into a thing whenever we watch the Colts play cause i think it is hilarious :)
I wish I could, but I'm basically computer challanged......Andy

Smith did make Talib his ***** that day. What Smith has been doing the past few years at his age is incredible.

yes...I agree..it IS incredible...and yet, he's always in a rage...always exploding with anger and blind rage..as if he has some kind of acquired chemical defect in his brain...gee whiz, now just what could cause something like THAT?

Cam threw for 209 yards. Smith had 62 yards and no TDs. They beat us by 4 points and had to have the league virtually cheat on the non Gronk PI call to get the win.

Please.....

Stats are overrated. Rewatch the game. The only reason his stats aren't that high is because our raggedy defense allowed him to kill the clock, with his looooooong drives into the endzone. I agree about the PI call on Gronk, but I never said our offense was struggling, it was the D as usual. They let Newton do everything he wanted except throw the ball and catch it himself for a TD. They were embarrassing as usual.

Why does everybody use stats to defend our defense, especially the secondary, when your eyes are showing you a totally different story?

Sad to say next week's MNF (Chargers vs Bears) makes tonight seem like can't miss football.

Geez, I'd hate to see the MNF schedule if ESPN hadn't been totally carrying water for Goodell...

There's the Cam that made us lose sleep a couple of years back.. lol

Dearest Abigail,

We were vanquished by rain tonight. I summoned all of the courage available to me, but found myself incapable of competently performing my duties. Indeed, I committed several devastating errors, the likes of which I fear have come to define me. I believe that we have all grown too comfortable in the confines of the our home division, where merely showing up amounts to a win.

Pray that I survive the night. I will go down with this ship.

Yours truly,

General Andrew Luck.

I don't think Cam was down by contact. Smart move by Cotchery to pick it up the ball but poor play by Dolts defender to not go for the ball.
