Saw that FOX doesn't have the doubleheader Week 9. Which means FOX CT will only be showing the Giants game at 4PM like they always do when the Pats and Giants are on FOX at the same time or a week when they have a single header. I looked into a while back and apparently it isn't even FOX CT's call. They were told Giants are the local market team because it's the closest NFC team and FOX is the NFC channel.

Just a heads up

Thanks for the heads up

FWIW my understanding is that the rule only applies to Giants away games.

ooops , misread your post....Saw Giants and thought it was about Giants -Pats in week 10.

Absolutely ridiculous. CT needs to get its **** together, this new york nonsense is absurd. Thankfully my father raised me right, we are part of New England not new york.

Since other New England fans aren't aware of it, they should probably realize that Conn. has multiple network stations, some coming out of CT and some out of NY. Two CBSs, two NBCs, but unfortunately only one Fox.

I always hated that. I'm sure most consider this game a laugher in the making, and unless you live in the Greater Boston (or northern New England sans Vermont) or Greater DC area, you're probably not getting the game.

Somewhat debatable. CT is close to being banished from NE due to too many NY ties.

In case some of you weren't aware, fully 1/3rd of Connecticut, or 1 million of its 3.5m residents, are actually inside New York City's DMA.

Actually fairfield and litchfield county gets FOX NY on their cable system, litchfield actually gets both FOX NY and CT. Which is why I hate that the FOX and the NFL told FOX CT they have to show giants games over Pats games the 1 time there is a conflict every 2 seasons because those areas of the state where it could be said that have giants fans get FOX NY. Whereas us north and southeastern CT Pats fans get screwed.

Ya 2/3rds isn't yet Fox and NFL make FOX CT show giants when the true local team is on.

As of right now Philadelphia and Baltimore are getting this game but CT where 2/3 of the state the overwhelming favorite team is the Pats we don't get game.

But hey we get jets/jags at 1pm on CBS.

I mean I'll find a stream or go to the bar but it just sucks that I can't turn on my TV and watch the true local time because the came is on FOX and FOX and NFL told FOX CT that they have to show giants games.

Can anyone recommend a good sports bar in the Springfield area for Sunday? I've previously gone up to the Northampton Brewery for this exact situation (Pats on Fox at same time as Giants) and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but it appears they now play live music on Sunday afternoons.

This is absolute BS! I looked and there is no channel for the Patriots. They are choosing a mediocre Giants team over an undefeated Patriots team. Anybody have an good websites for live streaming games? I live in New England, I should get the Patriots game!

yup, I live in Stamford (Lower Fairfield county) and I'm one of those who got f**ked. I will have to settle for some 5hitty *** quality online stream. Not giving up.

I used to live in Stamford. I live off of Hamilton Ave in the Glenbrook Area. I live in Trumbull now and still getting f**cked!!

A few years ago I was told by FOX CT that if it was up to them they would show the Pats game over giants when there is a conflict like this but the NFL gives them the giants game.
