OT: The Broncos D really capitalized on Aaron Rodgers biggest weakness...

Rogers has NEVER won a game where he was down 9 points or more from the second quarter on. He is too conservative about not taking chances on throws.

Of course Peyton looked better. GB lost two CBs and they lost Matthews when it was still a one score game.

You people realize that Denver went to OT with Cleveland 2 weeks ago, right? Packers **** the big game bed on the road like they usually have the last 5 years

It was over at half-time 17-7.

Whereas Brady overcame a 24-0 halftime deficit against the Broncos in 2013. Not to mention his overcoming multiple double digit deficits in the playoffs last year.

It really seems laughable to compare Rogers to Brady. Or really even Rogers to Manning(in his prime). Manning in his prime was a guy you could never count out. Rogers is basically Manning without the courage to choke.

I like our chances against anyone. I hope we are the underdogs when we go to Denver. It's like every other week we are playing a good defense and they should be the #1 defense by then too and mannings stock should be so high he will be consensus Mvp.

5. Denver is a tough place to play. Not only do you have to deal with the crowd, you have to deal with the altitude. Making those subtle adjustments on the LOS like we saw Brady do when he adjusted DA's and Gronk's position, will be much harder, if not impossible to do there. That means you have to simplify your offense a bit, and run a play you would normally adjust out of. It's a distinct disadvantage. One we overcame quite will in Buffalo. So we shall see..

Thank goodness we get to play there on a short week, after a Monday night game against the Bills. That will give us extra time to prepare for all this.

Oh...wait....nevermind.

If it were the Patriots, they would call it cheating "Altitudegate"

Frankly I think neither of us will be undefeated when we play. Denver will lose against INdy next week, in particular. And I won't be THAT surprised if we lose one against Skins, Giants, or Bills.

Rodgers is so not in Brady's league that half of the posters in this thread don't even care to spell Rodgers' last name correctly. Case closed.

May be one loss before the Denver game but it will not be the skins

I would be incredibly shocked if we lost to either of those teams.

If Indy didn't have Oline issues, and if Luck wasn't playing hurt, I would agree that Indy would have a good chance. They always play Denver well. But in their current state, I don't see them winning.

NE started preparing for the Jags way back in April. I'm sure they've started some of the preparation for Denver already.

Those ratings aren't subjective....just based on a stupid formula.

Yes, actually, they are subjective. The QBR FAQ acknowledges it, while trying to minimize it:

The part of QBR that could be cynically called "subjective" is that there are judgment calls with regard to what are dropped passes vs overthrows or underthrows or defended passes. ESPN's video trackers have strict guidelines on how to chart these items so that they are consistent across the different people doing charting. If you as a fan go out and chart these yourself for a game or two, you will see how several calls are easy, but some are quite hard to judge. We have standards that make things more uniform and every game is done twice to reconcile inconsistencies. Despite the standards, the gray areas will still exist and, because they exist, the division of credit quantitative analysis described below is important. That analysis is what says that a "drop" isn't necessarily all about a receiver because there are gray areas in drops.

Two things:

1. Both teams will be undefeated.
2. The short week won't matter to Belichick

@JeffDarlington: Broncos defense currently ranks 1st in @nfl in following categories: Points per game, total yards per game, passing yards per game & sacks.

@wingoz: The @Broncos are allowing 4.1 yards per play, would be the 2nd-best single season mark since 2001. Only 2008 @steelers were better.

@PFF: This Broncos defense has a chance to be one of the best all-time: Broncos defense could be one of best ever @PFF_Sam

@VicLombardi: Oh, and the Broncos win last night was the most impressive win by any NFL team all season. Please challenge me on that one.

The sleeping media had awakened. The Denver ass kissing is back.

We're 2nd in sacks, only 3 behind Denver, with the same number of games played.

I see the media has forgotten how underwhelming the Broncos have looked on one side of the ball for all of the season and are back to crowning the Broncos again. It's going to be glorious once Manning faces a defense that doesn't lose key pieces again and falls apart.

They're dreadful, predictable, and easily shut down offensively but that defense is beyond legit. I think a lot of people are sleeping on them because we all associate Manning teams with suck-bag defenses. That squad I saw last night was flying around and tackling immediately after the catch. Now, do I think Ware has enough gas in the tank and that Talib won't go down like he always does? Nope, and it will be a different defense when that does happen but it is still very impressive to watch. I think the Pats are a better, more complete team that matchup incredibly well but defenses that good are always a really tough out in January.

Things are finally back to normal as far as I'm concerned. The media is back on Peyton's bandwagon and everyone will be picking Denver to win the SB (as they have every year since 2012) only for NE to crush Manning's hopes once more - as has often been the case.

A little OT, but it's funny what an iron man Talib has become....seems like he's due for a hip injury. (I'm not wishing that on him, just observing how he used to be very injury prone.)

Reactions: TBR
green bay's offense has scored a grand total of 174 through 7 games. NE has scored 249. our offense and green bay's are world's apart.
And even if BB and McDaniels had that offense they wouldn't be foolish enough to have no game plan. GB tried to go toe to toe with Denver and came up real short.

The Packers are without their "Gronk" for the entire season.

cant throw picks..rodgers want his passer rating to look good.
