At least Breer said 'small group', but still - the comment as a whole was unnecessary. Simply a case of attempting to make a huge reach to create a controversy while pandering to the masses in an attempt to inflame emotions.

There's a small group of idiots in every fan base that celebrates injuries, yet Breer took this opportunity, at this time, to target a few idiots in the Patriots fan base doing it, even though some of those weren't even actually doing as he claimed.

Albert is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury HS and Ohio State. His anti-Pats agenda is likely rooted in the disdain Bill Belichick has shown for him in press conferences for years. 98.5 The Sports Hub features him often on their programs. Even pro-Pats people such as Zolak seem deferential to him as though he's some sort of Zen figure. I'll always remember him describing the Texans wearing varsity jackets stunt to Gillette a few years ago as "amazingly cool." He's a dink.

What we need to know is, besides this interesting anecdote, is that Breer works for the NFL Network..

The NFL Network has learned that any Patriots "controversy" or "nontroversy" is good for their "game" aka "vendetta against BB" ....

That's why I would say blame Breer, not the network.

Breer is a wonderful combination of ignorance + douchiness + douchiness about his ignorance when it is pointed out to me. He may be a great human being otherwise, but as a media member he's the worst.

Karmagate is not wishing injuries on others. It's the irony of, "I am rubber and you are glue. Whatever you wish (destruction of my team) bounces off me and sticks to you." Every single team that has tried to ruin the Pats with deflategate and its tentacles has ended up in ruins itself. If you believe there is such a thing as the Football Gods, then this season has been very interesting so far.
