Jets complaint prompted interrogation of 3 Patriots employees

Another example of NFL harassment and another example of an NFL leak! The league obviously has its sights set on total destruction of the Patriots by any means possible.
The next thing will be a fine for obstructing the investigation by demanding the league deal with this BS thru the management not the employees!
It is all designed to diminish the Patriots and raise the leagues stature in the fandoms eyes! Integrity is in the eye of the beholder, and the league thinks anything it does has integrity and anything the Pats do is lies, cheating, and next probably drugs!

F.U.N.F.L.

All of this is the league trying to supplement their appeal. Kraft gets pulled over for swerving over the yellow line on a road with no lines then is asked for license and registration as the league shines a light in the back seat and into the faces of his passengers. Then Goodell asks to look in the trunk and insists Kraft take a sobriety test.

Uh-oh...

Hey, sports "journalists" [hah!], try doing some actual reporting instead of gossip-mongering. Find out and tell us:

- Who is this NFL employee?

- What is his authority for doing this?

- What, specifically, does this Jets complaint say the Patriots did?

- Who, specifically, by name, was the complaining Jet?

- What, specifically, have been the repercussions for this Jet individual for filing false allegations against the Patriots?

When is this BS going to stop?

It will stop the very moment ~ should it ever transpire, as I pray it will and soon ~ that Robert Kraft finally looks himself in the mirror, admits to'mself that that sick feeling in'is gut is because he knows that he's been acting the Coward for Years, admits that the Peace that he imagines that he's bought is merely Servitude and Slavery in another form...and decides that feeling like a Man again is worth every bit of Trouble and Turmoil that will ensue when he finally stands up to his Enemies and goes to War with them.

I thought that if the Pats were 14-0 by the time they go to jersey, and have the #1 seed locked up, then maybe resting players and so forth would be ok (I personally don't care about the 19-0 stuff). Screw that, I hope the Pats clobber the Jets and hopefully prevent them from making the playoffs, that would be sweet.

Just more fodder to fuel the revenge tour. I was worried about winning the jest in ny, but not now.

It's time for a legal confab. Kraft needs to 'lean' on the NFL in a big way. Sitting back and getting your integrity and name slandered by innuendo and actions is unacceptable. He needs to give these punks a legal kick in the nuts and stop being pushed around the schoolyard. The NFL must love him because he cowers whenever he is confronted by any aggressive authority. I wouldn't ever have thought that of him but actions speak louder than words.

Goodell needs to step down. The NFL is a total joke at this point.

Any other sports league would be holding up a team like the Patriots on a pedestal for the heights they have reached! Not the NFL, lets allow a few NYJ fans in the front office to shame one of the greatest organizations in the history of the sport because they hold a grudge.

Screw this league.
You do realize that Roger Goodell is just a mouthpiece for NFL ownership and if they replace him it will be with a carbon copy.

I'm to the point now, if the Pats make it to and through the playoffs, there is NO WAY they win the SB again. the last thing the NFL and other owners wants is a repeat winner and for it to be the Pats. Q4 as Gost lines up to kick the winning field goal, a drone sweeps low and blocks the kick. Officials huddle and deem it unfortunate, but no flag, no replay, Pats lose......

More details from the incident.

During last Sunday’s 30-23 win over the New York Jets, the NFL interrogated three Kraft Sports employees on the Patriots sideline after the Jets complained about radio communication systems. According to a report from the Boston Herald, NFL officials looked into the three employees and determined there was no tampering. From the report:

The NFL employee took photographs of each Patriots employee and their identification badges, demanded to check their cell phones and also checked their radios to ensure they were operating through the proper channels. The NFL employee also said they already swept the visiting locker room for bugs.

After the questioning, which lasted about 15 minutes, the NFL employee continued to hover over the three Patriots employees until the third quarter, when a stadium operations manager told the NFL employee to route all further inquiries through Patriots and Gillette Stadium management.

PFT reports that the NFL security employees who looked into it were Lenny Bandy and **** Farley, at the request of Jets Security Director Robert Mastroddi:

One of the employees also is responsible for keeping fresh batteries in the referee’s in-stadium microphone. But Mastroddi didn’t initially accept the explanation that a team employee would be responsible for ensuring the performance of the referee’s microphone; Mastroddi said “people responsible for maintaining the referee’s microphone should be League contractors and not Kraft Sports employees wearing Patriots gear.” In response to Mastroddi’s concerns, Bandy called 345 Park Avenue and spoke with Jay Reid of the officiating department, who confirmed that the referee’s in-stadium microphone is handled by the teams, not by the league.
According to the Herald, the incident prompted an “unprecedented” level of interrogation. This is the second such investigation that took place that day, as the Herald and others are reporting that the NFL did sweep the Jets’s locker room for bugs, and it turns out Boomer Esiason is not full of ****.

The Patriots do have quite the history of being accused of cheating through electronic interference. Earlier this year, the Steelers headsets kept picking up the Patriots radio broadcast, only to clear up whenever NFL officials approached the Patriots sideline. Then there was the massive ESPN report that showed how the NFL had basically covered for a series of Patriots cheating scandals throughout the 2000’s. Even if they didn’t find anything in this incident, the NFL is at least aware enough of the Patriots’s history of tampering to take the Jets complaint seriously.

I'm sure the MCI and the CHB are already all over this!

It's clear now that BB and the Pats have to watch every little thing they do. The harassment from the NFL will not stop.
Well BB said they have been watching what they do since 2007.
I feel sorry for the employees. Even if though they know they are doing everything by the book and have nothing to hide, they know they can be harrassed and dragged through the mud they way Jastremski and McNally were. That can't make for a comfortable work environment.

OK so they investigated. What were the results? Any wrong doing found? If not, why is that not being reported. I am sick and tired of this. If I didn't love my Pats so much, I would just walk away from football all together. ROGER GOODELL YOU HAVE RUINED FOOTBALL. I HATE YOUR ****ING ASS..

Damn SHAME. I HOPE THEY PUT UP 100 on the Redskins.

No. As NFL commissioner he is able to keep the teams fighting among themselves so they can't get together a big enough group to fire him. Roger has truly gone power mad. Look at the idiocy, infighting, backroom shenanigans. Roger believes he is all powerful and has all toadies around him. Just think about this Nobody gets pizza until Roger Goodell gets pizza

"Nobody gets pizza until Roger gets pizza
On Sept. 10, two days after the second Rice tape was released, Goodell's team huddled into the night in an effort to figure out "ways to prove the commissioner wasn't covering up" for Rice. They ordered pizza, but nobody ate any because they waited for their boss to eat first. Not a good idea. Goodell was obviously more concerned with saving himself to eat, so nobody ate.

During a subsequent meeting, the WSJ reports that Goodell called his daughters to tell them that he would be home for dinner, which makes you wonder if they got to eat that night."

It is telling that he runs an organisation where people are afraid to eat before he does.
