yeah...and after the game next week,Peytie is going to hold a "sit down" on the nearest available cheerleader's face...you know, just to share with the public his "good ol' days"...gee whiz what a swell guy...

So Denver plays the Packers this weekend and will be a good test to see how good Denver really is. Packers are a different team away from Lambeau but if Denver wins that, they should be taken more seriously.

If Denver wins because Manning finds himself and goes off, so be it. Just as long as they don't win because of some last-minute fluke defensive TD.

I really wish there was a way they both lose

This applies to so many situations throughout the season.

How do Broncos fans feel about Peyton, I mean they cant win with him like this. Are they hoping he can improve before the playoffs come, do they want to bench him or do they honestly think that he can suck this bad and the defense will win it all for them?

I was thinking the other day that Brady, Gronk and Gostkowski barring injury are locks for the all decade team. For Brady that will make two straight. Very few players have done that. John Hannah, Ronnie Lott and (sadly) Warren Sapp come to mind. No QB has.

When the all decade for the 2000's came out there was suddenly no first or second team just an overall team. Because god forbid you have to put Manning where he belongs on the second team. Depending on what site you go to now sometimes Brady is listed as first and sometimes Manning but there is only one team.

So now it gets interesting. The other lock for this decade barring injury is Aaron Rogers. In the 1970's the first team Staubach with both Bradshaw and Stabler sharing the second team. I can see those two sharing second but just watch, I guarantee there will be three QBs with Manning getting the nod after the Manning camp does their politicking.

Granted there's still 4 years left in the decade but at this point you have all three playing 5 years at a high level and then you have Manning falling off a cliff and most likely retiring. Even is Brady and Rogers retired after this year they would both have one more elite year than Manning and one more SB victory each. And those are at a bare minimum.

Rogers won two?

That extra week did the arm good and he looked somewhat like the old Manning last night. Now part of that had to do with the atrocious defense played by GB (if you even want to call it that), but he made some really good throws last night. With that said, you only get one bye per regular season, so there'll be no more rest for that arm. He'll have to prove he will have enough for down the stretch and into bad weather. We'll see . . .

Thats why I'm not getting anxious over PM's game last night.

Coming off a bye so they had time to prepare
GB lost their corners and had some guys banged up out there like Matthews
GB's offense is overrated
PM had two weeks to rest the noodle arm

Come late Nov the Denver D may still be playing well but PM does not throw for 340 vs the Pats. No. Way.
