So true. Been a fan since 1975, and suffered a lot of bad football mixed in with some good years here and there. 1976 was a very special year, really thought the Pats were gonna win it all. Pat's were good for the next 4 seasons. Then it wasn't until 1985 until they were very good again. The Parcells/Kraft era really changed the franchise around, and 2001-2014 years have really been like living through an incredibly amazing, unbelievably good dream that seems to go on forever. Hopefully it continues on for another decade .

I've been puzzled by the somewhat polarizing response to that segment. I've heard radio/TV people vigorously mock it as phony and contrived. I'm sure it was rehearsed and scripted, but I just enjoyed it and, frankly, considered it a breath of fresh air for national TV in comparison to the usual anti-NE crap that seems the norm. Plus, I know for a fact it made people from other parts of the country nauseous. That, in and of itself, made it worthy for me.
