Nothing vaguely 'cheating' about it, but funny as hell.BB knows that the injury reports are just a sham. It's only there to kowtow to both the legal and illegal gambling interests that help drive interest in the NFL. His multi-year use of Brady's arm on the injury report was just one example of him having fun with it. I remember a couple of times when virtually everyone showed up on the report.
I think in the last few years, the absurdity of the mandated injury report has mellow on him, and he's been pretty accurate with his listings. That is as accurate relative to the rest of the league.
It ("injury report shenanigans") is one of those things that has been repeated so many times that it has been accepted as fact .... except, there are no facts to back the claim up.What are the injury report shenanigans? I hear it all the time, and usually someone says because BB had Brady listed as probable with a shoulder for like 2 years and he played all those games.
If your going injured, but will play that's exactly what you're supposed to do. Whole thing sounds like more tinfoilhattery.

Meanwhile, this past week the Cowboys reported that Hardy missed practice with an 'illness', when in reality they had no idea where he was or why he wasn't there.
Then he created it for the fans as well. I always feel a little blasé the year after an SB win. But not this year. Also I object on Edelman's behalf to Easterbook saying Gronk is the only "personality" on the team. (wish I'd seen @flasox27's post before I wrote this about Edelman. Maybe there's a reason Easterbrook didn't mention Jules?)LOL PSI cheated is such a motivator Belichick might have staged it
How do the injury reports help gamblers legal or illegal?BB knows that the injury reports are just a sham. Really? It offers them information that is useful in making betting decisions. This isn't rocket science. If you know Gronk is unlikely to play, you're more likely to bet the other team. How do the injury reports help gamblers legal or illegal?
If everyone knows that it doesn't help anyone though. The line just moves. That's like saying the NFL helps gamblers by letting everyone know who the home team is. Home games are an advantage but the line just moves to reflect that as well. To help gamblers they would have to release it to only certain people.Really? I know, that's what I was explaining. The idea is to prevent any kind of espionage whereby only one or a few gamblers knows the injury information and can use it to their advantage. Since everyone already knows who's injured, there's no incentive to buy or sell the information.
That's kind of the point. So maybe they word it wrong. It's to try and keep the betting field more or less even.If everyone knows that it doesn't help anyone though. The line just moves.
