Easley's burst off the line.

If he can stay healthy, he's going to be a beast. He's only going to get better. He might have been a top ten pick had he been healthy. Hell, if our front 7 can stay healthy, they could be dominant by the end of the season. Easley, Jones, Nink, Sheard, Hightower, Collins... oh my. I'm excited about this group.

Easley was a foot or two away from a half dozen sacks. He's almost unstoppable, it's really impressive.

And he only played 28 snaps. I suspect that will rise as he stays healthy. Malcom Brown is playing better too. I think this defense can really improve.

The offense can improve too if guys get healthy. Getting Stork back will help the running game. Lafell, assuming the drops were just a rust thing, is going to help a lot. He was getting open.

Easley is definitely my favorite Pats player to watch. But I've always been partial to watching D-linemen.

So the QB has just had the ball hit him in the hands in shotgun, Easley already has his face mask literally touching the guard's face mask, and Jones hasn't even moved yet. Lmao.

It's got to suck being the O lineman facing him.

Am I missing something? I don't see what he's doing

That's just it. He isn't doing anything. He hasn't begun to move yet while Easley is already clobbering the O lineman who hasn't begun to move yet either. What a first step.

Alright lol I think I was looking too hard before that

Someone bubble wrap his acl.

Easley's in there so quick lateral spaces open up between the the guards engaging him and the others who are not. He's like a striker in soccer whose fast play and/or runs opens space for the wingers to make their play which are LB's for us. Essentially he can have 0 tackles in a game yet be a dominant force.

Not that I am not impressed with his burst, but the guy has 0.5 sacks in 6 games...with the way Brady is looking this year, I think he would have more if we let him rush the passers-by :)

Only interior guys I can remember being that quick was John Randle and Randy White. Just sick.

John Randle is a good call. If he can put up anything close to those kinds of numbers, the world will have to see what the Pats look like with a terrifying front-7 on D, and Tom ****IN Brady on O

May that day come quickly...

We should have Collins following him on every pass play. With Easley's disruption of the blocking and Collins' athleticism, that's likely to give offensive protection schemes fits.

This kid is absolute weapon on passing downs. when sheard gets healthy Patricia has such a diverse Arsenal of pass rushers to rotate in between jones, Hightower, Collins, sheard, Easley and nink. Could see one of those 4-6 sack games for our defense Thursday.
