Just want to clarify... The Pats used perfectly legal formations and the refs were announcing over the PA SYSTEM who was ineligible, and the Ravens still couldn't figure it out. Harbaugh cried about it after saying "no one's ever seen that before", even though the Titans had run the same formations earlier in the year and college teams also ran those sort of formations that year too. He then caused such a stink that the competition committee changed the rules to prohibit the way the Pats ran it and make it somewhat "dumbed down" in a sense.
Harbaugh then proceeded to run this same type of formation REPEATEDLY this year, and now in this case, is freaking out because his player gave the "I'm reporting eligible" signal to a ref and the ref didn't see it.
BIG FREAKING WHOOP, JOHN! You are the one who cried during a press conference when Shane Vereen was out there practically yelling that he was ineligible, never moved downfield, the refs were pointing at him and yelling he's ineligible, and the loudspeakers were all announcing he was ineligible for the whole stadium to hear!! This one ref didn't see your player check in as eligible so he's an a**hole, but when your entire defense doesn't notice a player make it clear he is ineligible, a ref point to him and say he is ineligible, and a stadium announce he is ineligible, for play after play after play, it's because the Patriots are cheaters. Okay then.
