The Ongoing Tom Brady Post-AFCCG Ist Half (Framegate) Performance Thread

I have been sort of looking at comments sections on websites that note the highlights of Patriots games this year and I have to tell ya fans out there are starting to change their tune on the greatness of TFB and the team in general.

Yes there are hardcore haters that are not gonna change no matter what, but we are a lot more respected, I think, now as opposed to months ago.

Since the start of the 2nd half against Indianapolis....

vs Ind: 12-14, 131 yds, 2 td, 0 int, Pats with 28 points (2 quarters)
vs Sea: 37-50, 328 yds, 4 td, 2 int, Pats with 28 points
vs Pit: 25-32, 288 yds, 4 td, 0 int, Pats with 28 points
at Buf: 38-59, 466 yds, 3 td, 0 int, Pats with 40 points

TOT: 112-155 (72.3%), 1,213 yds, 7.8 ypa, 13 td, 2 int, 117.5 rating, Pats with 124 points in 14 quarters (8.9 per quarter, which projects to 35+ points a game)

Those numbers include non home games against two of the NFL's best defenses (Sea, Buf).

Tom Brady is the greatest QB of all-time. Watching him is just so freakin' ridiculous....even when he is not at his best and the team is playing a pretty mediocre game he's still just so so good.
What's scary is barring a major injury I can see him playing for several more years to come.
The guy is 38 years old!!!!! Sick!!!!! :D

From Bills forum :

I love how Michael Jordan, John Elway, Joe Montana, and so many other actual athletes were stopped by father time

Yet a pudgy, pale, skinny little weakling of a nobody becomes not only the greatest QB of all time, but also is totally unaffected by age and if anything gets better as he nears 40

WTF

Brady's performance is not just great and MVP worthy, it may be the best of any QB ever. It's not just the numbers, but the ability to adjust and out-think the defenses he is facing. The last two weeks, he basically picked apart two defenses in the 2nd half by changing the game plan.

The receivers made it tough on Brady last night, but he was exceptional and basically willed us to a win.

I think Rodgers is a great QB, but right now Brady is in a tier all alone, I don't think Aaron is playing at nearly the same level as Tommy.

Eh, John Elway was never really that good. He used to drive the ball into the ground, was inaccurate as all hell. Great final 2 seasons, could have continued playing.

Jordan obviously still could keep playing if he wanted to. He wasn't stopped by father time.

Montana was not a great athlete. He was in Brady's mode, but smaller.

It took 16 years...

...but I agree that Brady is finally getting his due.

Bill's forum again: "yup, lining up with 15 on the clock and reading the D and making a 100% adjustment on the play and hitting the open receiver within 2 seconds is like totally unfair to teams that don't have a QB who does this EVERY PLAY!!!!"

How can someone be pudgy and skinny at the same time?

It really doesn't matter, anyway, because QBs don't have to have impressive physiques to play their position well. Aaron Rodgers isn't out of shape at all, but he's not going to win any pose downs. On the other hand, Brady Quinn had some guns, but he wasn't a good QB at all.

The Patriots percentage of pass plays against the Jets (86%) was the highest in NFL history by a winning team.

Simply amazing
