LaFell will have a better game next week!

I'll give him a mulligan on this one given his inactivity, especially since we got the W. He's smart, we know what he is capable of... you know damn well he's going to take his lumps from TB12 and the coaching staff behind closed doors... He'll learn from this and be a force going forward. Book it.

We know what he can do...today he had a lot of rust on him..a lot. It won't be like this every week...he was fantastic last year

Problem with the Dolphins game is that it's on Thursday, so LaFelle will only have one more practice (on Tuesday) and a Wednesday walk thru. The true test will be the following week against the Skins after a long week.

Well to be fair he had a lot of drops early last year too from what I can remember. I remember after 2 or 3 games a lot of people on here were calling him LaFail because of it. Maybe its just how he is and it take a few games to get into it.

I know he has dropped many balls today, but I think he will be much better next week against the Dolphins!
I can't imagine he could have much worse of one

Mayo to Houston for their 1st.

(their 2017 1st…)

He could not catch a cold today. Will he improve with a short week to prepare?
Nah, he will catch a cold. JK :)

I think last season he had the dropsies with the rest of the receiving core at the start of the season. Remember that horrid start with Lafell, Boyce and Dobson... I'm trying to block it out too.

I am sure too...probably he used too much soap on his hands and forgot gloves too ? :D

This is the LaFell the Panthers knew. Hopeful it was rust.

On the positive side, he was open alot.

First pass of the Miami game is an easy pass to LaFell. He takes off from there. Book it.

Like an earlier poster said, he couldn't be any worse, so I imagine he'd have to improve by definition.

Positives from Brandon LaFell:

Zero offensive pass interference calls.

he was frustrating yesterday, felt like he killed a few drives....but he was open....Brady spread it around yesterday, there was always someone open

He almost has to. If he dared to have a worse game....... I don't even wanna think about how he would manage that.

He looked like Happy Gilmore playing hockey.

It was frustrating seeing him drop all those balls but he was open on all of them and that's half the battle. Bb is really forgiving this year. Dion fumbles and leaves him in and a wr usually rides the bench after three drops.
