Sadly, Indy isn't desperate. They have a losing record and have played like crap, but they're still alone at the top of their division.

So far the Colts have lost every game except AFCS contests. Continuing that trend would leave them at 8-8, which is sure to be enough to send them to the playoffs.
It'd be hilarious if the 6-10 Colts hosted the Jets. Their fans would lose their minds.

I got bored found out what the game odds of winning were for ever game s (as of today) the only game on hte Pats scheduale for the rest of the year is denver and even that they are 50 50 to win

I'm not a big 16-0/19-0 guy but I can't lie, I'm getting sucked in. Two more winnable games at home before the schedule gets tougher. If we beat the Giants and go to 9-0 heading into that Denver game on Sunday night I will be emotionally invested.
the only way 16:0 is happening is if Bengals goes 16: or 15:1. We have final two games away at Jets and Dolphins and if pats lead AFC with enough big margin, BB will rest starters. No Gronk, Lewis and Brady for sure. ANd possibly some guys in defense

So if New England is 14-0 at that point they'll rest starters? Absolutely not.

This. They also know that pretty much anything can happen in one game - a lucky catch or lucky call - and a team wins that should not have.. Football in that way is cruel sport.

Lol seriously. They beat 2 teams that have a combined record of 3-10 and they are the Hottest team in the league?
I know! It's not like they beat the #1 defense or anything, right?

6-10?

Yeah. No. We're not Indianapolis.

At 6 games I am not sure if that is a first ever but i would sure bet it is.
What happened to parity?

NE (18-17, 2-0-4, 87, 2/17)
Cinci (14-20, 0-1-5, 60, 3/21)
Denver (13-20, 1-1-4, 37, 29/2)
GB (14-20, 0-0-6, 63, 10/16)
Carolina (15-20, 0-0-6, 52, 28/7)

This is partly a scheduling fluke, but there is definitely a penthouse and a basement to the NFL in 2015. Only Patriots opponents have a winning record against the rest of the league. Only the Patriots (Steelers, Jets) and Denver (Vikings) have played a team with a winning record. GB and Carolina have yet to play a .500 team.

Dolphins @ Pats: Pats remain undefeated
Colts @ Panthers: Panthers remain undefeated
Bengals @ Steelers: Bengals remain undefeated
Packers @ Broncos: Packers remain undefeated

Among the elites, Denver seems to be the most suspect. The Broncos (as of last week) were the #2 defense, but the 29th offense. Their opponents are 13-20 against the rest of the league. Only the Vikings have a winning record and Denver won by a field goal at home. 2-5 San Francisco crushed the Vikings...

Mon 9/14 @ San Francisco L 3 - 20
Sun 9/20 Detroit W 26 - 16
Sun 9/27 San Diego W 31 - 14
Sun 10/4 @ Denver L 20 - 23
BYE
Sun 10/18 Kansas City W 16 - 10
Sun 10/25 @ Detroit W 28 - 19

Next week will not be very different from last week, but it will be fun to read about GB and Denver after that match up no matter who wins.

@giants, @Broncos, @Jets, @Dolphins

The 4 toughest games remaining.

Does it feel to anyone else like this has been the longest season ever?

I mean, we are 6 games in and I feel like this is game #12.
We should beat the Broncos, even in Denver. Not afraid of the Dolphins. @ Jets and @ Giants are the two I have circled for potential losses. We are better than both but I can see them as tough road games.

After watching the Giants, that game should be a win-Of course, Eli will likely have a horsehsoe up his butt and win on a flukey sideline catch.

It's still too early to think about going undefeated. A loss may even help them as the 2007 team was plaing tight towards the end, not that I'm rooting for a loss.

For the record, I don't think this would happen but for the sake of argument....

Even if this did happen exactly like you are saying, I'm not convinced we'd lose these games.

The problem I see is playing Mile High. That always sucks.

That place is the worst place for the Patriots to pay historically, and I bet in the Brady era.

If the Patriots are healthy, I think they win both games in the Meadowlands easily.

I only see the Broncos falling off the unbeaten list this week. Maybe if Ben is close to 100%, you might add the Bengals.

Not sure how I feel about just resting our starters an entire game when we have a playoff bye. I don't know how much it factored in but it sure felt like the Pats had a little bit of rust to shake off early on in the Baltimore game. Some of our starters didn't even take the field against the Bills.
