IF we ain't going the Trade route Cortland Finnegan would be a good option a Body with playing experience.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in assuming, of course, that he hasn't completely bit the dust. Veteran depth at a position as thin as CB is never a bad thing.

I would at least give him a shot. It'd be quite the reclamation project.

I've always hated the guy, but he used to have some talent. If the time off has let him recover and get something close to his earlier-career level, then I could see him being worthwhile depth.

Why not just trade Dobson to another team, and offer a draft pick to sweeten the deal?

I think at this point another team might give us a bag of balls for Dobson. And they'ed be deflated balls.

Who still has something left in the tank and, apparently, the team thinks can be coached. This is veteran depth at CB. I'm not going to say no.

Do we need a 5th corner more than a 7th S or a 6th DT?

Is Finnegan an upgrade over our current #5 CB?

I would sign Finnegan if Patricia thinks he has anything to add, cut Thornton, and have Finnegan inactive until he can beat out Melvin for reps. I would also continue to look for opportunities to upgrades of our corners.
