If Marcus Cannon's injury means he is out for any length of time, acquiring an OT becomes more important than a CB. I believe Blaine Causell and Michael Williams are the only guys on the roster that can possibly back up Vollmer and Fleming.

I think we could use a tackle regardless, but that's just me.

As far as CB goes, I think we'd all like to see a move, but I have a feeling that Belichick is fine with Coleman's progression and the recent acquisition of "Bud." That's not even getting into a scenario where McCourty could move up and play full-time CB, which would be in an emergency. In other words, I'm not as sure that we'll be seeing that expected CB trade that everyone is proposing.

never seen brady like this after a win. sounds exhausted and disappointed or something. like they lost the game.

That's what i love about him. He's a perfectionist. I am sure he feels they could have scored more

I was in Indy's locker room after the game and here is a rough transcript of Pagano to his boys:

"They said that the other team was going to come in here and hang 50 on us. Well, they only got 34 and we were within one touchdown. That's the sign of a true championship team, fellas.

You seriously had me there for a second, at least with your first 2 sentences.

Still worry about depth. All it takes is one injury.

Dolts should have started hasselbeck. His balls don't fly on him ala luck lol

We might if the value is there but I think we should do it only if we get a definite upgrade rather than trading for a CB 'just because'. I thought Cannon, Vollmer and Fleming did alright tonight so I don't think it's desperately necessary to add another if Cannon is fine. Again, always happy if they can get an upgrade.

nfln host compared manning to tebow...irvin sanders all say..i cant talk to you after you said that.

Bad comparison. Tebow was far better in 2011 than Manning is now.

Just a thought for next week, but according to Daniel Jeremiah, the Jets have only given up 2 sacks all season. They haven't faced too many really good pass rushers, but even so, that's quite a stat. That needs to change next week.

McD got real conservative with the play calling after we scored the last TD. He needs to keep his foot on the gas.

While I agree with you here, it is also safer than doing what we did vs Buffalo which was throwing deep on 4th and 1, etc. Best idea is a medium there and just continue with the game plan as always I guess

I agree that the Pats need to add a tackle regardless of Cannon's status. Mike Williams may be 300 lbs, but I don't see him being a tackle on this team..

It's going to be interesting to see whether or not Fletcher, Stork, and LaFell start practicing this week.

Have you been watching McCourty trying to man up in coverage at the line?

Can stork play tackle? Is he any good there?

I'll be honest. The Pats should have run more 3TE Sets running the ball. Running the ball should have been the game plan from the start.. That being said, after they had established the pass, they should have stayed with it late in the game on with short routes and screens. With the likes of Amendola, Edelman and Lewis, the Pats would have eaten up the Colts. And those routes would have eventually opened up things for Gronk as well..

Stork has only playing Center as far as I know. He might have taken reps at guard, but that's about it..

Fleming did some good things. We will get an idea of this offensive line against the jests. Good test

Yes, but the Pats are down to Blaine Causell on the Practice Squad. I know they tried Barker there in the pre-season, but he was a disaster, in all honesty.. And Mike Williams is too much of an unknown..

If Cannon has turf toe or broke his toe, he's done. The last time the Pats were in this position was back in 2004. And neither Tom Ashworth nor Brandon Gorin is walking through that door..
