We won. And it appears we lost a lot of players. As much as I was trying to enjoy the game, I (personally) felt that enjoyment slipping away- right down to the end! It wasn't just one player AND it was players (e.g. Cannon) as that same position; the ones that hurt a team the most.

And I'm not being pessimistic- just realistic. Of course, the real news will be out this week.

It just seemed to never end...right to Slater at the end.

OK, here come those roster moves that everyone loves to chat about. And it appears that its not just onesies and twosies...something I want to be absolutely wrong about.

Alas, injuries are the nature of the beast. TMK, the injuries seemingly did not appear to be season-ending for the players involved, but of course, we will learn more as the week unfolds.

I'm hoping Slater avoided major injury. He looked like he was in pain but he stayed on the sidelines. Could have just been a twisted knee. I'd have to imagine if the trainers suspected a tear he would have been in the locker room at the end.

Fleming played well in relief of Cannon. They used Williams to cover for him early but seemed to free him up later and he performed well. I'm not sure how bad Cannon is hurt, but I'm not sure the step down is that great.

Sheard was missed sorely in the 4th quarter as the pass rushers wore out.

Well, it's starting to look like we'll have Roster spots open for the guys coming back from IR and PUP :(

Problem is the timing... can't have too many dudes out all at once. (Especially at a single position.) Wouldn't be surprised to see somebody get IR'ed in a numbers crunch who otherwise could have made it back.

Sheard is the critical one here. He better be ok.

Im writing Slater off unfortunately. Non contact knee injuries never end well.

The injuries continue to mount. Last year's good fortune has run out. :(

Don't forget Julian, short term problem possibly. Not much in 2nd half, and that awful bobble for pick 6

Only major injuries to watch are cannon and sheard. While Slater is a beast, we did fine on ST when he went out few years ago. Edelman will be fine.

My guess is Sheard and Cannon will be back as soon as next week. Slater could be done.

Word is Edelman's injury happened before this week and probably just jammed it tonight. He played the rest of the game.

Lewis was probably getting reps reduced due to his abdominal concerns as well. Hope Sheard will be ok. he seems to think it is ok.

Next man up. Outside to TFB, no excuses. Adversity is a good thing. NEXT MAN UP!!!

Why did they have Slater out there? It was clear he hurt himself in a previous punt coverage.

Slater was already limping earlier in the game and stayed in. Hopefully just a sprain or strain.
