Jerry Rice now says he did not use stickum

ESPN's First Take should debate whether or not Jerry Rice is mentally unstable.

it used to be that TV added 5-10 pounds to the way you look. Nowadays, it actually conforms your mouth to say words that you never intended to say.

Either that or media has such great super computers that it can render realistic images of people and software can match a person's voice pattern. They don't even need real people anymore. This wild theory is starting to make sense. :D

Ted Well's response: We have looked into it, and we found more probably than not that Rice mis-remembered when he said he used Stick-Em. All evidence (that he was not a Patriot) leads us to believe he used a can of water mist, not a can of stick-em.
Goodell's Response: Rice is of unquestioned integrity.

Jerry Rice sounds like a political candidate, he did it, then he didn't do it, so just trust him on his word.

jerry rice did not use stickum

Never used Stickum ! Don't blame me for dropped footballs. My work effort speaks for itself .#Goat

Wow...from lying about something he already admitted (making the lie worse), to the bizarre "don't blame me" to the jaw-dropping #Goat about HIMSELF, that tweet is really the perfect storm of douchebaggery.

His royalties must have been taking a noticeable dip. Time to shore up the damage on his legacy income?

So Rice isn't just a cheater, he's a liar too

#GLOAT

Wow. Some days start off with a bang.

Is mort giving Twitter lessons now?
Hey, Jerry told us that he used it without us asking, so therefore it was a lie. If we had asked him first and he answered, then it would've been the truth. That's Mort's Law of Validity.

What an idiot...we're lucky he's too dumb to keep track of what information he's divulged.

Wow, Rice is getting roasted on the internet with his hypocritical lie.

Next up: "Somebody hacked my account!"

Yeah it's pretty bad right now. What a dumbass. Was anyone talking about this? Why bring this up?

i used to respect this guy. he was a definition of a true professional. a great work ethic, chip on his shoulder, and unmatched killer instinct.

why are you doing this to me, jerry rice? he really needs to stop talking. seriously.

Yea Rice has been pretty devestating to me as I reached adulthood.. I had pictures of him on my wall growing up, plaques, football cards etc and idolized him. . Then when I was in my mid 20's I started to see and realize what a total douchebag he is a lot of times

Incredibly disappointing to say the least

This guy is no different than Don Shula. They should both shut up.
Man there are a lot of idiots both in and on the periphery of the NFL.

What did Joe Montana say about Rice's use of stickum when he was asked about it during his interview with the NFL Network?

Oh, that's right. The NFL Network didn't ask Montana about the admission of cheating by the HOF wide receiver that helped him in 3 Super Bowls.

The NFL Network only asked him if he thought the Patriots were cheating.
