Post-Game Shooting in Cowboys Stadium Parking Lot

It is interesting how this story just died in the media, no updates on the victim and very little on the incident.. this seems to be the most recent. Perhaps the Texas News thinks other issues are more important.

If this happened in NE the Globe and Herald would be all over it, and the spawts tawk mediots would be having multiple orgasms and would all of a sudden be authorities on guns/violence.

Its a criminal investigation now. Sometimes the press keeps digging sometimes eyewitnesses dummy up and all goes quiet.

Fair enough. I'm the opposite. If someone made a snide remark in passing I'd be the type to let it pass. Obviously if someone got right in my face and personal it would likely be a different story. But similar to Nikolai, I'm 6'7" 285 and in decent shape so that might have something to do with my experience. And no. I can't rush the passer.

LOL, I walk 7 miles every day and workout at the gym 3 days per week and my PCP says I'm in great shape. I'm also 6-7( but mine's in years, like sixty-seven) so I need to avoid anything that could remotely lead to anything more than a FU.

I usually try to turn the other cheek too. But then I'm 7'9", 578 lbs of solid rock muscle and I also have superhuman strength and the ability to shoot bolts of lightning from my **** hole so not that many people try to talk smack to me.

Now that we've measured our ****s enough, does anyone have any more definitive information about the victim, this Ricky Selles. Is he a Pats fan? Do the 2 have a history? Are the comments about the crowd egging on the shooter true?

This was a shooting that occurred in front of many witnesses and the police was almost immediately on hand, fast enough that the shooter couldn't get away. You would think that with the MINIMUM of police work and journalism the public could know at least THESE small questions.

It's horrible enough regardless of the reasons for the fight, however if he was shot because he was a Pats fans, then awhole additional level of implications open up. Then the issue of being allowed to carry a concealed weapon at public event where drinking is allowed. The issue of public safety at Jerry World and at what point does his responsibility end. Finally I'd like to know why this story has dropped off the face of planet. When the mob beat up they guy in SF, that was a major story for weeks. Is this another example of Goodell trying to manage the news like he's doing with Deadspin?

I rarely get into altercations at games either but then again I'm 3'2", 43 lbs.
