Cannon has been much better at tackle than guard.

going to make those jets/dolphins/broncos games a bit more interesting now

Every team must cope with injuries sooner or later. Solder is good, but honestly could've been a worse.

@NEPD_Loyko: Cannon is about to earn his money. Played very well in 2013 when force to play full time when Vollmer went down.

Cannon's proven in the past to be a starting caliber RT. Unknown at LT.

Vollmer is an All-Pro caliber RT. If he could play that way at LT, the OL may be "upgraded" in a bizarre way.

Then again, Cannon should get a chance to prove he can play LT or not.

When Stork comes off of IR/Dtr. Can Stork or Andrews play tackle? Wendell?

We can't trade for someone every time a player gets hurt, we'd run out of picks faster than Goodell can confiscate them.

Andrews, AFAWK, only played center at Georgia, and I think in HS too.

Am I mistaken here, or did we already lose Solder in the past to an injury? If that's the case, how did we fare last time?

gotta wonder when it happened, might explain some of the early sucsess the cowboys had. maybe he hurt it early, and the full rip happened later in the half.

Mankins played LT against Baltimore in 2013.

What game are you watching? Cannon was a disaster at guard last year, that is why the coaches moved him back to tackle.

Mankins was the backup LT then, although I believe that was when Cannon was already filling in for Vollmer at RT. There isn't really much of a precedent for Cannon and Vollmer being the two starting tackles, except during this OL rotation they've been doing.

Brady better get used to being on his backside a lot.
