Ya, see their blueprint was a bit flawed. They thought getting pressure with 3 or 4 guys, playing press, and dropping 7 or 8 in coverage was enough. Truth is you gotta get pressure on Brady with 1 guy, playing press, while dropping 11 into coverage.

That's a penalty.

I will never listen to Bedard ever again. Has he ever explained on the show his stupid Deflategate logic that if you take away the highest and lowest PSI measured footballs and from both the Pats and Colts and just measure the PSI levels of the remaining 7 Patriots and 2 Colts' footballs it is damning and incontrovertible evidence that the Pats deflated the footballs.

After he floated that theory that not even morons like Volin, Mad Dog Russo, etc. would even float, I have lost all respect for the guy. He was supposed to be the smartest guy in the room, but he hands down had the dumbest argument on why he is convinced the Pats cheated.

Yeah, being out of state is a blessing sometimes I guess...it seems like a lot of people can't resist listening, don't really get it.

But I do love the "blueprint" stuff. "The way to beat the Patriots is just to blanket the receivers and pressure Brady without blitzing. Yeah, that should pretty much do it. Just cover the receivers all the time and get to the quarterback." Brilliant analysis.

Exactly. The way to beat the Pats is to have rushers who can consistently get to Brady, very quickly, even when they're double-teamed. :)

I have a general problem with media personalities. It's as if they stand for nothing other than clicks these days.

I wonder if that would work on other quarterbacks, too...?

Unfortunately that is how their compensation is based as opposed to taking events and circumstances and offering a unique perspective that make a difference.

He actually said that? Wow o_O

I exaggerated a bit, but not much:

b. I know Peter has been pretty vocal about how the Patriots’ footballs barely fall out of the ideal gas law range, depending on which gauge the ref used. I look at it differently. Toss out the highest and lowest readings on both the Patriots’ and Colts’ footballs. The Patriots’ nine footballs lost an average of 11.2 percent and 8.3 percent of their initial PSI according to the two readings done. Colts’ two balls: 2.9 and 5.2 percent. It’s not a great sample size, obviously, but to me it’s a common-sense way to say the science is a toss-up, leaving the texts and lack of cooperation, which I absolutely believe should be viewed in the negative column.

BTW Greg, there is nothing common sense about saying throw out 50% of the Colts' balls and only 18% of the Patriots balls and saying that it gives anywhere close to a decent rebuttal to Peter King's argument. It only skews the data more since all of the Pats' balls were measured and only four of the 12 Colts' balls were measured. A freshman in his first week of Statistics 101 could tell you that.

Talk radio use of material implication..

If Brady then...sub-moronic hysteria taken past the absurd = Felcher & the Pinhead Posse

Good Christ, I had to shut if off! "this stuff with Guerrero could taint Brady's legacy...again, F & Bedard cited the 2010 playoff game vs NYJ as more blueprint talk...Bedard thinks NYJ can stop Brady & beat Patriots....

I love how the Pats put up 30 on Dallas and that's a blueprint...

Felger has expertly recounted that... it's possible to beat the Patriots. Because someone beat them 5 years ago. He's not exactly wrong so much as it's just a point that's so self-evident that it doesn't require any kind of elaboration. Every team can be beaten, and nobody needed Felger to point that out.

As far as the whole Guerrero thing, wasn't hard to see this coming. Just the latest smear campaign. As long as Brady doesn't test positive for anything, it's just wishful thinking from desperate trolls. The fact that they want to speculatively smear Brady based on the fact that they wish he'd test positive for something just shows how little of substance they have behind their beliefs. Every attempt they've made to take Brady down has failed, but they're not going to stop trying, and they certainly won't be confined to the realm of reality in their efforts.

You know, its a real shame that sports is no longer "sports". It has become a combo of the WWE, a soap opera and a Jerry Springer show. Its just all garbage. People shooting each other, fighting, constant crying, the media with agendas, radio guys who are just idiots for attention, witch hunts.....

It was not like this 15 or even 10 years ago. I will say it again, social media and the internet (as revolutionary and great as they are) are going to cause the downfall of society.

The next step, Bruins 29 is these bigmouths get to say all this crap IN FRONT OF US with no security...you know, just face to face. That would make great video. Of course the shows wouldn't last long because they'd run out of bigmouthed, scumbag, self important douchebags like Felcher and Spazz and the incredibly reprehensible Gary Tanguay after the first week.

Felger pushing the Brady/Guerrero connection, Bedard saying if Brady tests positive for "anything" then the4re's a big story....
this is what felger has been hinting for years for some reason.

The blueprint talk was expected. But I do think the jets game will be a very tough defense to handle especially with sheldon richardson coming back. They seem to be playing less nuts than they were with rex ryan.

I prefer to call him "Felcher". Look it up, but it's NSFW (or human eyes).

Dude! That's disgustingly funny. Perfect name for him.

I now know what NSFW means.

One thing I have learned over the last year is to never form an opinion over the first story. I don't care who the source is but especially when it's from the Contrarian Crew.

I remember trying to listen to McCann discuss deflate gate one morning on D&C and freaking Toungray took over the segment with his "Brady paid the ball boys off" theory.

Now Brady is on PED's.

Brady masterminded a ball deflation scheme.

Too much Bs from those guys. I'm have settled into WEEI quite comfortably with the exception of listening to Zolak and Bertrand once in awhile.

Oh and I spend way too much time on Patsfans "getting my updates":D

"Felcher" nice, from here on and evermore will refer to him as such.

It seems that talk radio seeks the lowest common denominator to low information fans.. and unfortunately there are many who just lap this crap up.. any controversy about the Patriots drives the ratings..

Would have thought that after a very good win on Sunday they might revel in this currently and be talking about the Indy game.. nothing can be further from the truth..

More and more sports talk radio is becoming dead to me..

Maybe we could just lock Felcher, Tanguay, Bedard, Tomase, Minihane and a few others in a room and lock the door.. three days later they would still be trying to tell each other how their POV is more important than theirs..
