Liked Nicks with the Giants he struggled mightly with Colts Offense last year which would easily spell doom for him here. If having the choice between the two I would just keep Dobson.

I think that for me atleast nicks has to prove he is not done. He looked dreadful with the colts at times.

I don't know what percentage of snaps he would bring to this offense at this point. He looked like toast last year in Indy. If he can fit in this offense, understand the route tree, and even bring a percentage of what he once was, he'll be a decent option as a 4th wideout.

I can't believe Nicks has fallen so mightily so fast. He was drafted only 6 years ago. At one point he looked like a Dez Bryant type. It's not like he's 35 or 36. I wonder if it was just injuries. He's tried out with a bunch of teams and hasn't been signed yet. How the mighty have fallen.

didn't nicks kill us in the super bowl? wow, he's fallen real fast.

I thought they already picked him up....
Oh, Hakeem Nicks not Akeem Hicks.
Good thing they work on opposite sides of the ball.

The foot injuries that he has had typically kill a skill position guy if they're not allowed to heal properly. That's precisely why Dallas has to be so careful with Bryant.

And that IMYHO is what ruined Aaron Dobson.

Hakeem Nicks was a special player in his prime 2009-2011. Unfortunately not much is left. But what a great football player he once was. He aged quickly due to injuries

If he can give us even 50 percent of what he once was, sign him

I wouldn't say killed us, but he had 10 catches for 109 yards. Manningham had the "killer" catch.

I do remember Nicks killing the Packers:

Nick Kasa, former Colorado and Raiders TE was one of the "two other players" worked out. I'm still intrigued, based upon the following:

Nick Kasa

6-6, 269lbs
4.71 forty
31.5" Vert
9/5" broad
4.45 shuttle
7.18 3cone
22 Reps Bench

Rob Gronkowski

6-6, 264lbs
4.68 forty
33.5" vert
9'11" Broad
4.47 shuttle
7.18 3cone
23 Reps Bench

Remember David Boston?

It's a cruel business, isn't it? That's why I never begrudge players for trying to get as much as they can when they negotiate their contracts or decide to try FA.

I am truly sorry Mrs Dobson but your son's problems are failure to get separation consistently, failure to hold onto the ball, failure to make any contested catches and a penchant to dive to the ground after the catch faster than a chipmunk into its burrow.
