Yep. From now on, every time a player or coach seems stunningly unaware of the game clock, he's going to be "pulling a Tomlin."
Andy Reid has that trademarked.

Classic post! The clock operator keeps the clock running after a touchback and no one directly involved notices. The officials don't see it. The Steelers and Chargers coaches and players don't notice. The staff in NY who are available for replays and challenges don't notice. Also, while they aren't playing, officiating or managing the game, the TV announcers miss it, also.
Last week, the officials miss a player batting a ball out of the endzone on MNF.
Yet we're supposed to believe that Walt Anderson accurately measured 48 footballs and is sure about those reading based solely on his memory. We're also supposed to accept that the halftime measurements were completely accurate, as well. Somehow, in their case against the Patriots, it's accepted as fact that the NFL got everything right, while operating on the fly in an activity they were undertaking for the first time in league history.
Watch Andy Reid who could be the silver medalist..Only Salvador Dali mangled a clock worse than Reid......To me, Herm Edwards epitomized the HC who was totally unaware of and/or completely flummoxed by the game clock. Watched him make several clueless decisions that cost his team points.
I really appreciate BB (even though we here at Patsfans know he can't draft).

Personally, I'd be pissed if I was a Chargers fan.
No - serious - 18 extra seconds means maybe they take a TO to assess the situation defensively. 18 extra seconds is a chance for a kick return.
Oh, Tomlin would just get in the way....
Mods please put in a 'funny + winner' post rating.
NFL Official statement - - 'oops, can't change it now - - let's move on'.
UNBELIEVABLE - - Fer Crissakes, that's all? THAT is worse than any change to a game 0.2 PSi could ever effect. Where is the investigation?????
Unreal. No Ted Wells. No headline stories on CNN. No national outcry about the integrity of the game. Just.......nothing
You're giving us too much credit/power.
Only Ian can do that. We are just the the Flying Monkeys.
Mods please ban this asshat for posting a pic w/o a trigger warning.
The NFL will randomly do some tests this year on the concept of time. Gotta check these things, and then MAYBE share the results.
Patriots cheating again, no doubt...
Right, Mr. Tomlin?
It's not that BB can't draft, it's just that so many Patsfans posters are much better at it than he is.
