The Official "Damn, man. That's WAY too Early" Pats vs Colts Pre-Pre Game Thread

If you wanna get into X's and O's we can a bit.

Hilton is going to be a problem. We have not dealt with many WRs like him this year and I think it will be a hard match up for whoever they put on him (IDK if you want Butler on him or someone else). In the past they used Arrington and he is the perfect guy for someone like Hilton (when on his game). Now it will be an issue.

I would personally use Butler and let him get that experience.

Moncrief is interesting at 6'2 220. He is young but strong and has talent. On pace for near 1000 yards. Someone else to look for. I don't want to get into all their pass catchers but they have a lot of guys with different skill sets. Will be interesting.

Gore I am just not worried about at this point to be honest. He is getting yards but looks old to me. Gap discipline should be all you need to stop him.

Their OL leaves something to be desired. I don't think they are particularly good at anything. I would go in there looking to attack and play a smaller pass rushing front and dear them to have the old Gore run 35 times.

No point talking about the QB cause i don't know who it is. It will be someone okay but not elite. Should be a good test no matter who it is.

On defense for them i really don't have much to say. Vontae Davis is their best player on that side probably and Brady can either play around him if he wants or face him head on with Edelman and probably beat him. This crew is just one i am not worried about cause i don't believe they can get a consistent pass rush on our OL and that is the only way to slow down the Pats O.

I highly doubt our OL allows the Colts to get to Brady like that 2 weeks in a row and they have no Greg Hardy.

Overall the Offense should score but I am curious to see how they can play against their offense. Best they faced since week 1 and I want to see progress made.

After they are up by 50 it would be so funny if Brady just lobs a soft pass to Jackson and after the game they ask Brady about it and he says he wanted the colts to check the air pressure in it.

I hope our guys are compose for this one ready to destroy the dolts.

If active, this could be Dobson's "breakout" game. Especially against that weak Colts secondary.

What's the betting the Colts attempt to over inflate the balls prior to the game (like the Jets did last season)?

I wouldn't put anything past them.

Pats bring their own balls.

Eff the Colts.

It amazes me that any other team has managed to sink to Jets level.

Well, another reason to get up for this game, as if anyone needed one. Read these posts and then you will see it, about half way down on the first page. It's a picture one of them posted, I can't wait for the game.

Tacky, bad juju.

Meanwhile this exchange below that was hilarious:

Let me get back with you after (the Patriots) play Dallas this weekend. They slipped past Pitt and Buf, but destroyed the same Jags team we just played. None of those teams are impressive this year, and neither are we.

Thanks for the scouting report.

I assumed they're the usual good, just wondering if they're in that scraping by win mode or just bombing villages mode.

Bombing villages

First and goal, I want Shaq lined up in the back field and rushing for a TD!

The only thing I’m NOT looking to, is hearing from the trio of Collinsorth, Michaels, and biggest of them all douches – Costas.

Luck is gonna sit this one out. The Colts know he would easily contribute to the 51-7 can of whoop-ash the Patriots will lay on them, making the score 72-17 instead. Hasselback gives them a better chance, but there is really no chance for the Colts. That trash probably won't even show up to this one and they shouldn't.

One Colts fan's prediction of the game...

I, for one, hope that 50 is the under there. I have never wanted the Pats to blow out an opponent so badly in my life. Not even the 2010 Jets.

I like this one better.... I call it "SEEK AND KILL!"

The wife (from LA) has insisted that we go on a two week trip to New England to see the sites and foliage. I actually think we will be in Boston on the 18th. I will proudly be wearing my Pat McAfee jersey at whatever sports bar I can find for the game.

If you don't hear from me again it's been an honor being part of the Colts fan family.

We depart on Monday, wish me luck....and tell Nadine I love her.

I love the bloodlust.
