The Official "Damn, man. That's WAY too Early" Pats vs Colts Pre-Pre Game Thread

I can not wait for this game. I am amazed the spread is only 5 points right now. The Patriots are going to absolutely curb stomp the Colts. Hell! I don't want them to even kneel down when up by 50 with only 1 minute left when the Colts have no time outs. You pass and score a TD!

The only missed pass I want Brady to throw this game is one knocking down their stupid spirit award banner. To quote Mr. T. The prediction for this game is one word. Pain.

If Hasselback plays instead of Luck the game will be noticeably closer. Pats still win big but he will play against us better than Luck would. We own Luck.

Brady, Edelman, and Jimmy G all need to pass for TDs in this game. We also need Solder to catch at least a couple of those TD passes.

On the final play of the game we should fake the kneel down and pass down field for another 6.

I hope the team maintains its composure better than I am. I want total annihilation. I want the sports world to look on with disgust and dread as we run up the score to unprecedented levels. I want a mercy rule to be invented and invoked, just for this occasion. And I want Andrew Luck to be healthy enough to participate in the humbling.

What exactly is the NFL going to do with 31 teams instead of 32?

The only games that would upset me more about losing are post season games.

Now comes the moment to publicly embarrass and emasculate the India-No-Place Colts and their corn-fed fans.

Someone is shaking in his boots and already waving the white flag:

Watching the patriots crushing the Cowboys and can't come up with a scenario how the colts will beat NE much less compete with them. Truth

Colts acting like Superbowl favorites. Colts acting like 45-7 was the result of a few drives in one half with slightly under inflated footballs.

To be honest, I've been ramping up for the Colts game since...**** all offseason.

Then they signed the AARP Allstars and passed on Brown for the Hilton "clone."

Then Hasselback outplayed the **** out of luck in his two games at the helm.

I want a god damn scoring record with an nfl record forced punts. Will trade luck starting for forced punts. A couple 3rd and long "Luck Punts" are even better for momentum than Hasselbeck getting the start and safely managing a field goal or truly intended change of possession.

Somewhere in all that @Deus Irae tried to argue that the Luck nay sayers were pitifully misguided. I guess those of us that noticed the frequent interceptions and questionable decision making are obviously wrong...

Easiest game of the season.

We should consider resting our starters for this one. We'd put 60 up on Indy with our 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Colts 17
Pats 76

1776 Patriot-ic right?

I watched the post game show and unfortunately Felger is one if the hosts. He's on to the Colts and he's predictably focusing on the patriots "guilt" in deflategate and how unfair it is for Patsfans to be mad at the Colts.....after all they were justified in turning them in. Expect this to be the focus of the two trolls all week. Do yourself a favor and avoid them if you already don't.

Thanks for that.

I stopped listening to Felger and 98.5 a long time ago. I will on occasion listen to Zolak and Bertrand on occasion but that's about it.

I have never and WILL never be "on to Indianapolis"...

I hate to throw cold water on this but it's the second game in a back to back road trip where the home team has two days extra rest. This is where upsets tend to happen even when the teams are grossly mismatched.

I'm cautiously optimistic we'll win but I wouldn't take this one for granted.

While you may be onto something, no one here will consider taking your thoughts seriously.

It's a predetermined 50 point rout for about 99 percent of our fanbase, meaning that it's unlikely that they can live up to this sort of hype.

I'll take a victory--point blank, and if it ends up being 13 or 17 points, all the better. Anything else will be a cherry on top.
