The Lewis TD catch and run was amazing. He broke three tackles and skipped past 6 would-be defenders. There were no other blue jerseys even in the frame.

Props to Lombardi. The change in pro player personnel signings after he came on was palpable, with Castillas, Ayers, Lewis, Sheard, highlighting a very good group. When other teams see guys like Butler, Lewis playing impact roles for us, it must be infuriating: "Chandler and Amendola... alright, our team can sign those kinds of players too... but where do they find impact players off the trash heap?"

Shaq Mason running all the way with Blount on his long run .... and Blount is not slow.
He was also about a ten count slow of the ball on the 3rd and 1 stop near midfield early. Why they ran the same basic play instead of playing te coverage games is beyond me...

I really wish we'd have a chance to see Garoppolo during these blowouts. Save Brady some game stress so he's in top form for the playoffs, and showcase Garoppolo to see what he has
It wasn't quite that out of hand @voluntarysaftey

I was a bit curious about the end of the half kickoff with three seconds left. Why wouldn't you want to squib one and burn the clock on the kickoff?

Instead they gave Dallas one play to take a Hail Mary if they wanted. Of course with weeden they just ran a kneel down, but they could have taken a shot.

I thought about that too, i think because BB saw as a higher probability that boys ST scores than that their offense scores that quickly

Just a note:

I thought that 4th down play was a perfect time to put both Blount and Lewis in the backfield, and let Brady simply choose between pass (Lewis) and Run (Blount) based upon the defense. That play had 'pass' written all over it.

True. Dez apparently received PRP therapy, or "platelet-rich therapy, where the patient's blood is drawn from one part of the body, treated in a centrifuge and then concentrated platelets are injected into the area in need of treatment."

Maybe he can turn into Captain America or something.

Anyway, I forgot to mention that we get Randy Gregory back for NYG too. I don't know if you guys have had the opportunity to watch Gregory, but he's ridiculous. He looks like he's been in the NFL for a few years. He completely dominated through the preseason and dominated the Giants 1st round LT in our first game until he was injured. He's an exciting player to think about.

Yawn.

If your team was 100% present and healthy that MAY have been a 30-20 rusty off-the-bye-week Patriot victory in your stadium. Your team had Romo and Dez there when the mediocre Giants gift wrapped a last second win to you in your own stadium.

As usual with the Cowboys, there are lots of great parts.

But can they come together as a TEAM?

Year after year after year..........Jerruh is a collector like Snyder in Washington or the doofus in Miami.

Notice the emphasis Belichick puts on Special Teams personnel. I think your organization has ADHD and just concerns itself with "talent".

Sorry.

This has been the problem with the Cowboys for quite some time. Our drafting and FA acquisitions have been phenomenal since Garrett took that over though. We only have 6 players left on the team from when JG took the reigns.

Our teams of the 2000's have been a few big names mixed in with complete suck, but we finally have a coach who can balance that out.

I'm sorry, your team right now (as in the recent past) looks quite mediocre. I still think you don't understand that a TEAM is not only a collection of talented players.

Like the Colts, the Cowboys will probably go 8-8 and maybe get a playoff game only because of a very bad division.

Sure Dallas is mediocre without Romo and Bryant. I suppose that you would expect us to be 4-0 without Brady and Gronkowski.

Sheard was already well known, and successful. Excellent signing, but I wouldn't consider him a 'find' on the level of Lewis.

fair enough

1) Where have you been? Dallas has been mediocre for 5 years WITH Romo and Bryant. (42-38 with ONE playoff victory)

Dallas = Talented Individuals, No Chemistry Team.

2) Regarding your Pats question: 3-1. Don't think they get past Buffalo in Buffalo.

Our second string QB is far better than their second stringer.

Good post aside from these two statements.

Sheard is immense and consistent. Flowers and Grissom cannot be spoken in the same sentence at this point. Maybe in a few years.

Comparing White to Lewis is equally laughable.

This.

Granted I haven't paid as close attention to the games as I used to, Sheard has played very well and Lewis is simply evasive. While flowers/Grissom flashed in preseason, I don't think they could play to the level Sheard has so far, and I don't think it is that close.

Regarding White and Lewis, I'd replace white's name with your favorite of Faulk, woodhead or vereen. Lewis is slippery. I don't remember seeing a guy making people miss like he has with the sideline awareness (he plants and bursts up it for plus yards when hemmed in), catching, and running ability displayed so far. The only knock I've noticed is pass pro occasionally, and whatever Brady chewed him out for today...I honestly think lewis' PREMATURE four game performance assessment has him on pace to be a better running back than either of (The Original 33) Faulk, Woodhead, or vereen. I'd take woodhead as the best runner of the 3 ex-Pats, and I think Lewis crushes him in this aspect.

I'd take Faulk as the best reciever, and don't think we've seen enough to truly gauge Lewis here. That said, lewis is by far the better option in space.

Lewis keeps impressing me. How many times a game do you guys watch him and just simply say, "wow."

this blueberry ****oo clock is still vomiting on our threads?

We wish you all the best against the Giants.

I never had any issue with the Cowboys other than your owner being a horse's ass. Then again, Kraft has been a real horse's ass lately when it comes to defending his team against league sponsored smear campaigns.

Did anybody screen-capture Jerrah's priceless reaction after the thumpdown?

Also one thing i really like about this Pats team is that many of the corner stones on it are home grown.

Butler/McCourty/Collins/Hightower/Nink/Jones/Brady/Gronk/Edelman/Ect..

The only big time contributors this year that are not originally Pats are Lewis, Sheard and Brown (CB)

Shows how well the Pats have done in the draft and FA lately that they are able to build a team like this and not need much in FA to fill out the rest.

Also Shread while impressive is not someone we could not do without. Flowers/Grissom I think would be able to fill in and you would not all that bad off though you would lose something.

Lewis has look very good but White has looked good this year in limited reps. Again you lose something (Particularly on change of pace run plays) but you could survive without it.

Brown you just need. Plain and simple. I would not be happy with Ryan as the #2. Too much of a drop off.

I disagree with your Sheard comment. This year so far he's been far and away our best DL. He's been better than Chandler and his impact has been better than any of our interior DL.

Grissom and Flowers barely get on the field.
