Who's your CB trade binky??

I don't think Hyde is a CB. We need a legit CB2 who can play man. Maybe they are desperate to make a move like that. They have depth at CB.
Green Bay moved him over to safety but was initially a corner. I don't know if it was because of weak performance though. I think it was more that they had good depth at corner so they shifted him over to safety where the depth was weaker.

No. Jonathan Joseph can not fit under our cap. And the Texans don't want to trade him.. Not to mention that he would cost them an ADDITIONAL 3.5 Million against their cap if he were traded..

According to Over the Cap, the Texans would save 6.5 million dollars if he were traded this season.

All you do is subtract the dead money hit (5.25) from the total cap hit (11.75) = 6.5 million dollar savings.

The bigger question would be, what we'd have to give up to get him, and as you've mentioned, why the Texans may be willing to part with him, especially since his 2016 cap hit next year is only 7m dollars.

Bashaud Breeland #26 from the Washington Redskins is my new CB binky. He can play outside, switch inside in the nickel, and excels on STs.

6 passes defended with 1 INT through the first four games this year.

13 passes defended with 3 INTs and a couple of forced fumbles in his rookie campaign last season. He was taken #102 (4th round) last season out of Clemson.

Of course, they have no reason whatsoever to want to part with promising young talent on a cheap, rookie deal, but this would be a good signing for sure. He's really stood out to me lately.

@manxman2601--what did you think of him prior to the draft last spring, and how do you like his progression so far?

Breeland is excellent, but as you say, he's the type of player you build around, not trade away.

That's what I figured....bummer, because I'm really high on this kid.

I remember when I first watched him pre-draft. He wasn't much talked about at the time. I came straight to the draft forum really excited by what I'd seen in Breeland. Was so impressed by his physicality.
